Tim’s the kinda guy you can’t help but to smile back by from his love and passion for cars and how they work drive differ from one another lets you know he has earned the respect and admiration from people like him not fortunate enough to get that experience, but the closest we will get to experience. Glad he shares that with us!
Ferrari definitely knows how to make a V6 sound amazing In general Italian V6 Engines all sound great Prost & Cheers from Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps
@@nathandavis5003 Can you really blame him not driving that beautiful Zenvo around that track with all the eegits driving around it! I can tell you I don’t I was glad to see he didn’t!
I think the 296 is the only truly amazing modern Ferrari. Don't get me wrong I know the SF90 and the Purosangue are cool but I think the 296 is just so well done and so chimed in. It holds its own much better than its modern siblings.
This spec is one of the better ones I’ve seen because it’s not too much, but it works so well. This and the Triple F collections 296 are just stunning!
The second lap was much better both in commentary and driving quality because you were more race-focused. That "talking through your actions" was great.
@@Shmee150 if you ever run out of ideas for bold colors. Look up the 2015 Toyota Corolla green. One of the most beautiful greens ever made and imagine it with higher quality paint. 😍
Been watching your uploads for many a year Tim. Your enthusiasm, your quality uploads are a pleasure to watch, but more importantly is your humbleness. Thankyou 🙏
2nd lap could have had the rear window down to prominently capture the blow off valves more clearly. A very well spec'd little car & great sounding V6.
Very impressed with how smooth you were on all controls ! With that kind of input, speed will follow and you will become a very competitive driver ! Good job !
Can’t believe Ferrari didn’t code the predictive brake system to turn off while in race mode. I could see that causing someone to lose control. Great job keeping the car stable when that occurred and nice laps!
Great ride, Shmee - I couldn't get the grin out of my face while watchin' you drive that gorgeous beauty I'm looking forward to being delivered next spring 🥰
Great vid, glad to have a complete video with your normal voice, from now on talk like this rather than your presenter persona, so much better and easy to listen to.
Thx, very nice onboard video. I don’t know why, but this 296, the sound and the car behavior seems a lot more fun than a perhaps faster SF90..what a machine 😂
That hot lap with everything turned up was immense, got a real sense you wer3 pushing quite hard there fella, within both yours and the cars limits but still working it! I salute you sir for not just owning the best chi;a, but using it as enjoy would have desired! Say no to the show ponies and yes to using your toys!
Congrats, Tim, your skills driving the ring have grown since your Senna days. You are much more relaxed, confident and enjoying yourself. So fun! Thanks for taking us along.
I’m staggered by the 296! I never expected it to handle and sound that good, I’m officially won over this car now, it has redeemed itself. Thanks Shmee!
Shmee150 Absolutely Incredible Video I'm so glad you had such an incredible time driving your Absolutely Gorgeous and Incredible 296 GTS on the Nurburgring Nordschleife and I can't wait to some Laps in your Purosangue
There's something about the 296 that appeals to me more than any of the other Ferrari's at the moment. It's definitely a very cool car and it sounds great. I hope Ferrari do a limited version of one of these and imagine if they could raise the rev limiter by another 1000 rpm - to make it rev like a 911 GT3. Just imagine the sound of nigh-on 10'000 rpm. It would be utter spine tingling.
I think qualifying mode just charges the battery as much as possible at the cost of fuel so that you never drain it and always have full power. You can see it charge even when you're not braking, with the combustion engine. Incredible technology
@@AB-80-X just saying, for what they offer now I think 296 is best bang for the buck. Only ever drove a 355 so I hear it compares to my 720. SF 90 seems way less visceral than 296 and way more money. I’ll try them all if I can lol
That emergency break looks like it could be hazardous on the track. I understand it's not a track car but there should be an option to turn that off in those circumstances. Good laps, you drive well shmee.
When the 296 came out ,I was a bit skeptical about it. But in all honesty, it's one incredible machine ,looks stunning with the right spec and sounds incredible under load.
That grey interior color really looks good under the sun. if i were to spec the this ferrari, the interior with look like this and the car color with be either white or grey.
I don’t think people realise how fast the 296 is, and it’s not just the 167HP Hybrid system that makes the difference, the 120’ V6 F1 80’s engine is an absolute GEM 💎 😊
Hi Tim great video! I know you have said you are worried about taking the Zenvo on the Nring because of the other drivers which is very valid! but what about getting to the track first thing, and going for a leisurely drive?
Hi, nice lap! but if you want to use Quali mode you also need to floor it harder otherwise the car will put the battery on recharge because it thinks you're not flooring cause you need grip from an exit corner. Quali mode gives you full battery power only if you're flooring the car!! Ironically, performance mode doesn't behave like this. The gauge under the RPM says it all
