Now that was an amazing episode, the full gang of animals, an awesome home owner, multiple blocked drains, a car ride and a shopping trip! Love these long videos!
@@mariebelladonna437 For the longest time I thought the Ridge "finder"was saying "Richard"when it turned on. Every time I would say to myself " his name is Ollie not Richard."
Australian health care services are amazing, you cant even tell Magpie has prosthetic legs, hopefully he will continue to socially distance from Croc so he don't lose them again.
Took a good bit of a wait: Thing is Magpie doesn't have any private health plan, and Australian healthcare only supplies the short replacement legs. OH well. Magpie doesn't do a lot of walking anyway.
@@deconteesawyer5758 Magpie can be happy that he doesn't live in "the greatest country" on the disc. ;-) I think it's funny to see how he tries to clean his disposable gloves with toiletpaper.
Been watching for about a year now, and I really like how you’ve started using the drain camera at the blockage to show us better what yore up against. Thanks for all the entertainment Ollie.
The toilet paper test- highlight of my day! And of course the magical return of Magpie!!!!! ❤️ I always envy people who have the gift of gab. I'm very quiet. I don't have much to say. Your new friend Ollie! He could talk an elephant's ear off, I tell ya. ☺️
What an absolute exercise of patience! As soon as you invoked Murphy I just had that feeling that it was all going to go sideways, but, you had an amazing recovery. Well done, Ollie. Keep up the good work!
The banter with your apprentices is so awesome! You truly brighten my days! Only wish you posted every day! The world would be a better place! And Ratty would be fat from all the corn!
Yeah, over here in Germany we wonder about what you do in both places. Although I have to say the Aussie style is closer to ours. On newer homes you will likely find the pipe going into the wall instead of into the floor. We also don´t run our sewer lines through gullies on the outside of the house. That style I only know from the UK. Instead of Wax, don´t you sometimes even still have something like lead pipes for that? or is that what you connect to using the wax?
Magpie! Glad to see you again! Looks like the leg transplant went well. I'm sure that your rehab was difficult but you're a tough old bird and we all had faith in your return. Looking forward to more adventures with the whole gang!
I was about to comment the same thing. Our toilets are so much better designed. No concreted in, no need to drill it. No fricking pipe to fight with and possibly could leak... like it happened...
you do realize this toilet can also be used on a through-the-wall drainpipe, so the slab doesn't need to be broken up on a retrofit bath installation? Everything down under is on a slab and it's common to have exposed pipes because nothing freezes. Basically one toilet fits all by using a different connector pipe. You can also trim the pipe to fit 10, 12, or 14 inch offset through the floor. In North America you'd have to stock three different toilets.
@@thephantom1492 I'm in the U.S., and I don't like our design at all. The floor under the toilet has to be perfectly flat, or the toilet will rock back and forth and eventually break the wax seal. And, the flange needs to sit right on the finished floor surface to work right, and this often gets "overlooked" during remodels. Plus, the new pvc flanges deform when the toilet is bolted on and do not hold the toilet well. The whole toilet situation is ripe for improvements.
When the camera goes into the pipes with all the old crud inside, I half expect to see something leap from the shadows and grab the camera for dinner. Thanks for the long video. Perfect on a cold day..
That gust of wind, at around 22:55, could not come at a more poignant moment. I know that feeling, very well......that point where a simple job, suddenly becomes a lot less simple!
You do like to punish yourself.you go out and fix the problem but then no you go looking for more and find it.dedication ,dedication.that’s why your the best. Great job.keep doing your thing and carry on.👍👍👍😎😎😎
Hi from uk olli and mascots👋👍 nice to see magpie back on the job from being a sick note😂 the mascots team is hole again👍 and a nice hour with you guys great stuff👌 I fell of my chair on the locating of toilet cleanout where you seriously checking your pockets for the spray paint🤔😂😂😂 and nice drive out to for yourself but great job olli you did awesome job on this multi clean👌 thanks for your time and be safe see you soon👍👋
It rains there almost as much as it rains here in southeast Missouri! Glad to see Magpie back. Love her new legs! Great job, Ollie, Magpie, Kookaburra, Ratty, Baby Rat, and Croc! You guys made my day!
I like the way Ollie humers the old guy but deep down he really wants him to Shut the F#@$ up so he can get his job done. I'm the same way Ollie. Chears Mate, All good. 👍
How on earth do you do your job without ONE cuss word?? That first flush after reassembling the toilet would have sent my husband into a litany of the most foul kind! You are the greatest at what you do!
Magpie is back and with new feet. Crocky said they were delicious. Ninja turtle juice test. The tile in the shower is similar but larger and newer than the flooring tile around the toilet. Think uniformity replacement is in store for the homeowner after he pays you of course Ollie. Found the toothbrush some one lost at 19:02 .LOL Customer Olly sportin' a nice pony tail.
Morning Ollie, Kookaburra, Ratty, Croc, baby Ratty. OMG, Welcome back Magpie 😁👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 yay. So I’m Just home from work and nothing like having a relaxing video to watch and great news of Magpies back 😂. Stay blessed
Love it....but dang I buy a new NaviScout and it works 1 out of 5 times and it is brand new. You can literally toss yours around and it never fails you. Maybe I need to throw mine across a yard a few times to get it to start acting right...haha. I loved that client wanted to be some help, but we all know sometimes a guy has a tad bit too much help...none the less an awesome guy, the umbrella was super nice, and a guy has to love the "do whatever you need to do" client. Love this episode.
Yeeeeesss!! The whole gang is on today. Magpie got some new prosthetics. Mate the NDIS is good!!! And how good is the back to work program. Magpie will be into it in no time!!!!
lol when he was cleaning up and stopped and looked at the gutter "blocked drain". had me rolling. its one of those things normal people dont pay any attention to but when you work in the trades you notice stupid little things all the time.
Blimey! Magpie is back, mega roots, crappy plumbing, a busted Grizzly, a bit of a tile jigsaw puzzle, a broken “flush thing-a-me-bob for the back of the pan” and at 22:50 Ollie is clearly contemplating his life choices. Top work as always mate!
Great to see Magpie back from hospital after that naughty Croc ate his legs off. No way to get on with your work mates Croc. I thought we'd lost Magpie forever. Long live Magpie!!!
Ollie, can you get a smell-o-meter on the video. All that heat out in Oz and all that poo has got to stink something awful. Have a great day from Blighty
It was good to hear why you selected a particular jetter head and what you were planning to do with that head fitted. It was great to then see your plan get executed and the final result. I am sure this is due to your expertise and experience but I am guessing this may not always happen as planned either. I will have to give you a call to come and look at my blocked storm water pipe, It may be a bit of a challenge as it is full of roots but I am hoping you can clear it.
