I think every floor should have its own theme..that would be rad. Different lighting, maybe arenas/movie theatres on some floors, gyms, schools / online classes , casino, concerts / music festivals, etc
This is cool. It's gonna be a huge hit or miss whether people find it lame or not. Online shopping with crypto would be cool, going to a sneaker store or something, buying the shoes with Blok and having them delivered IRL.
There should be some de- stimulation rooms on each floor. A room where is a beach or a sunset where people can hang out in between buying and interacting. This will garentee you long stays within your platform as well as much needed visual break . Vr chat has done this very well I honestly would like to provide more feedback if you would like . I love this idea

Not really crypto ,lockdown,investing in cyber link and vr its all coneccted we will be derailed from everyday life into fully immersive expirience which will leave the real world easily comtroled
I get claustrophobic when I see this halls. You should definitely build a more natural level within nature, like a place on an island to watch the sunset ;D Apart from that amazing project. Humans need to manage motion sickness though...
I agree frankly it would be depressing to be in the darkness all the time, knowing that North Europeans already live in it half of the year (Finland, Norway, etc).
What's supporting the reflections in the engine is it a screenspace reflections, ray tracing or a skybox shader it would be cool if this could look as cool on low end devices that's the reason I'm asking this because reflections use alot of computing power as cool as this look only about 1/5 of vr users would be able to get the full experience in the example shown to us in the video. So depending on how this was done it might not look so good on a operating system like a quest 2 especially because it's has online aspects. Just my look on the subject overall this project looks amazing and can't wait to see it finished quest 2 supported or not.
It need A LOT more work, get ride of all the effects witch make my eyes bleed, add naturals environment, gardens, and it need a lot of optimisation. But you got the idea. What about chatting, will people be able to chat with each other, like local voice chat ? You probably need to hire more game devs.
Plus it feels like the "player" is just enticed with the Lambo and the Prize Wheel, in order to bombard them with advertising. At least that's what level 1 feels like. And If that's the lobby, what can we expect for the other levels. More advertising? Feels shady to me.
I posted on another channel about this. For the funding received, they have not demonstrated an MVP (minimally viable product). Just assets/renders/animations. Where's the functionality and features? Industry game developers are needed for a project like this, everything they hope to achieve would take some years, imo. I wish them success, but this is a seriously speculative investment with so little demonstrated by the team.
A really cool project! Hopefully this is just because of this being a prototype, but the neon lights shine too much and makes a lot of details disappear
FPS seems quite low and I have seen quite some metaverse games with the same problems. I am hoping that this is desktop client based and not browser based and the experience is on par with the best games in the industry even though it may take time to achieve so but the roadmap should be there.
Can private instances of Blocktopia be rented out for company events such as virtual large format meetings? Is there an area within Blocktopia that something similar is already designated for?
Is this going to be just a market place for advertising and trade NFTs? Or there’s goin to be something more? I would love to see something like a game play kind of Ready Player One , with prizes in NFT and stuff, imagine champions who actually will be famous globally. Otherwise, I guess, it will be boring if we’ll be able just to buy stuff from influencers.
How do you buy real estate? I went on your website and when you zoom in you can't even read what it says it's all blurry! I would think that would be something important! You know people having the ability to read what is in the floor plans...
The first game to make their gameplay like GTA wins the Metaverse IMO. This one might do it. They just have to add more ways to interact with the environment and things to do. Right now it just looks like a giant shopping mall. That's not gonna cut it. If Rockstar decided to announce a GTA metaverse, watch out.

Oculus rift? 2) I can't seem to find a way to register an account, how do i register an account? 3) How do i purchase lots in bloktopia to open a store there?
