And debs always gives little waves to her audience she made my year when I seen Blondie in 2012 and she pointed to me and sang the line " your hair is beautiful" omg I was so stoked she must of seen I was a tragic fan right up the front I just love her so much she a ppls person and she is ahhhmazing ❤️
Makes me cry that such beauty has to age - life is so cruel. It is understandable that Deborah Harry became obsessed and depressed over her looks when she started ageing for she said her face was everywhere all over the world and everyone telling her she “IS” the most beautiful woman ever born. and she has had to bear that trophy into old age and my god does Deborah Harry still pull it off. I love her and always will. 👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄BUT ITS DEBORAHS VOICE HER SINGING THAT IS BEAUTIFUL too. .,
Wonderful comment.I was just thinking of how aging Stink's.Your right, she sure toted a Burden her entire life.I still always see them through 13-14 year old eyes..Love them.. Cheers
A shame that her success became a source of something negative. She was very beautiful in her early years but what so were many of the other performers of the day who have since been forgotten. What's really magnetic about her is her attitude and bearing. It's difficult to articulate but she has a kind of composure that is that is very unpretentious, effortless and and authentic. She never looked like she was trying hard to be sexy or attractive. She just was. Maybe these are just things that you project onto her as an onlooker.. My 2c.
she truly is so stunning I just cannot put her age to her she bloody incredible she turned 76 last week and still performs what a woman Still a spunk lol
I hope blondie realise the impact they have on us younger fans…i’m 22 but my mother is a lifelong fan !! i’m so excited i could cry…if they play union city blue when i see them ton tour next month i’ll genuinely pass out! it’s my favourite song ever 💖
I love Union City Blue from when it first came out! The range of their songs, from Dreaming, Heart of Glass to Sunday Girl and Rapture is phenomenal… still! (I was an early teen at comprehensive/secondary school in the late seventies and early eighties).
72...absolutely outstanding......well done...voice is still banging........in 79 when this came out originally, I was 9, I’m still listening to her....amazing...
Me 2....Same age..I used to set in Diner's when booths had the dime music boxes.....Gary Newman, Blondie,Glen Campbell, what marvelous era...We are so lucky to have witnessed...Salute!!!
OH Debbie, they never knew how good you were because everyone was blinded by your beauty. What a performance, now they know what a great lead singer you were and are and still your beautiful. Don't forget the boys, what a tight band, the best band from the punk era. Clem is still the heartbeat every band wishes they had. I feel so sorry to the teenagers today because they are fed a load manufactured rubbish. I grew up in the seventies and was almost drowning in an ocean of quality music. If you are young, look into seventies music, you will fill your soul. Blondie The Jam The Specials Start there and then keep looking.
Harvey Smith 2`s up ta you and all . Oi ya forgot the Bleedin Sex Pistols ,come on without them we would never had these bands and if ya ever see Jonny Rotten tell im i wuz askin for im will ya
They formed in 1974 and started having hits and number ones in the 70's around the world. American success arrived in the 80's with the number one song Heart Of Glass.
@@magicmike6961 no shit however she doesn't look unrecognizable as cher and most of the older people that had too many procedures and Debbie has a gr8 doctor and cool without trying the definition of cool ass
Fucking hell. I am 46 years old, spanish guy. Never paid much attention to Blondie and DH. Always liked but as any other random band, you know...but last weeks I have been listening to them deeper and man! let me tell you: what a fucking great band and front-woman!!!!! Now I totally understand the myth and big words arround Blondie.
I sure hope your comment is true it would be sad to think such a beautiful woman when she was younger would sink to such depravity to "stay young" at the expense of an innocent child.
I hate to say it, but there's something lost between being there then, and the much deserved acclaim of this kind of production. Guess I'm lucky to have heard it in it's time. And reveled in her natural beauty. Of voice and mind. Lucky her. Lucky me. Lucky us. She went for it.
on the morning of November 5 2024 take note of the words of this song and think about the words "To the orange side Rearrange my mind In turquoise Union, Union, Union City blue Skyline, passion, Union City blue" and think of UAW and vote accordingly
I think this was a free concert in union county nj There were a couple of bands including Paul Rodgers Blonde didn’t play for long but it was pretty awesome
Yes she had plastic surgery, but she looks dam good for 72 !!!!!!!!!!!!! God Bless Blondie ! I remember her in CB GB's in NY on second ave in the 60's.
