Fun fact: the howitzer deals most of your hp and if it hits you it will make your hp to knife/hammer/sickle attack hp

Also with shell if you aim it at a structure that’s next to the cannon it will reflect at you

I asked coder in-game whether there was a difference between the Field Gun and Howitzer canisters and his answer was that they are the same except the Field Gun canister travels quicker through the air.

When i woke up to play Blood And Iron, the game's title include “(Howitzers)” and i was like: Wait, howitzer cannons? Did they also add a new cannon? Did they add the sneek peak rounds? As soon as i went to my private server and the game's map changed into Falenty and as i played artillery ranker, i was right. They added howitzer and the shell. (The howitzer roundshot.) I tested the shell out. It was very good. I noticed the differences between Howitzer Field Gun and Regular Field Gun: Howitzer and Regular Cannon Differences And Similarities: 1: Shortened Barrel. 2: Different Ammo(Canister remains on both ammo boxes of Regular And Howitzer.) 3: Shell 4: The wheel and the back of the Howitzer remains as wood. 5: Different firing audio 6: Howitzer can aim higher then regular artillery. Similarities: 1: They are still artillery 2: Canister is available and remains on both Howitzer Cannon's ammo box And Regular Cannon's ammo box.

Some funny moment about old cannon.. in farm map... i was france arty and doing arty battle with british arty... i load up the round shot and it actually kill the arty... the enemy arty was idk how to say... satly but amazed because i did headshot him while using round shot... XD and this is happen just before the server shutdown due to new update (HOWITZER)

Basically the howitzer turned so up because i think is almost a mortar lol

Real point history Howitzers were seen as revolutionary artillery pieces while the Cannon part is for Artillery smashing piece like Antonio tank gun while the How fixer fires like artillery over the obstacle and with this it’s worth it to shoot over and behind the target my opinion to balance between that he’s for killing time delayer or campers it’s best for it I recommend increase insta damage for the shell HE cuz whenever the shell landed and shrapnel disperse from HE it didn’t damage them but didn’t damage them lil not but I want increase insta kill damage also real history timeline Howtozers were used in both American Revolutionary and Napoleonic war and even used some other wars

So on my perspective on these shells Normal Cannon : Round shot : AP Round / Armor piercing Canister Shot : Bigger shotgun shell Howitzer : Explosive shell : HE / High Explosive Canister shot : Bigger shotgun shell
