how to be good at heavy cav : Option 1 : - depart from your horse and go on foot Option 2 : -steals enemies/friends horse

I like running heavy cav when I plan on doing regular officer thing on foot, because of the fact that you can steal horses in a sticky situation, and the better sword

My whole team became heavy cav and we absolutely dominated the Spanish team, we rode our horses then after we spotted a enemy, instant pistol shot on them, we won for like 3 rounds, man I missed when it was good

The only reason i play heavy cav is for the sword which i think may be the best melee in the game and i usually stay away from playing heavy cav and dragoon mainly because of the firearm being in the second slot

If you can be heavy calavry officer with better pistol and better sword and a horse. You don't want to be infantry officer. It is same with dragoon officer. They could have nerf like a musketoon. They can ride but have lower guns.

If I want a cavalry with a pistol, I better choose a dragoon officer, and the horse is more faster

With the new update, doesnt the heavy cavalry heavy sword can 3 hit a cuirassier unlike a normal sabre being able to 4 hit? And im not too sure of this but wouldnt the heavy sword be able to do much more damage and possibly insta kill if it were to be on a light horse just like how a lancer being able to insta kill while riding a hussar/light horse

They reverted the dragoon officer buff.

The horse of Heavy cavalary can have "spikes" for run over too infantry and kill them.

Why all youtubers think that speed is the most important its not the guns and uniforms are the most important why everyone says they are trash cuz they are not they are the best!

Buffs I think the heavy cavalry needs,buff the deviation to 0.0200 and a velocity of 28.666,and make it that you can shoot with your cav pistol on your horse and only for heavy cav,officer drangoon can't use there pistol on there horses and buff the damage by 15 more then normal pistol like headshots do 135,torso 115,limbs 85, constructs to 35,horses to 75,and the fallout Range to 25.5 instead of 20 like normal pistol,and the walk speed to 17,for making ready to 13,presenting to 9,and reloading to 13 and a buff for the heavy sword/sabre to deal 30 more damage to horses and you walk 17 studs with the heavy sword and 14 while blocking with it,those are all the buffs I would give to the heavy cavalry. Would this make the heavy cav OP?

I think you underestimate the utility of heavy cavs horse size as when majority of ppl fight someone on horse back, they slash the horses head and front body, once ur horse dies, the pistol serves as a last resort more than dragoon 2.0

as of today, the heavy cav no longer has a regular pistol now meaning it has now a cav pistol so they have something good now other than the heavy sword/sabre they have before

Heavy can holds a neiche of being effective on unapproachable groups, like hordes of infantry Cuirassier is better on fortifications, retaining charge weight even after dismounting Heavy cav has a use on partizan defences, you ride up to the sapper fort, dismount/stand on your horse and take a shot then reload and repeat until charging is more viable Also charging down hills onto attackers works Isn't that good on unorganized forces A buff would come with a new mechanic, kinetic hits Bracing would get a buff in damage and stopping the horse while when a horse rams a player, they ragdol for a period of time, dependant of size of horse and if it's going over a certain speed Heavy cav would be better at charging groups as more hp only does so much

They should make that ONLY HEAVY Calvary can use it pistol while on the horse

My opinion: the pistol is what carries the is class and instead of 1 buff I should get all 3 or your ideas.

Heavy cavalry kinda sucks in my opinion although I do play it sometimes I mostly go for lancer or dragoon since lancers I think got a slightly faster horse and increased the lancer damage on horse making heavy cavalry a bit vulnerable

Heavy and medium horses are the same speed, so you'd only be hindering yourself if you're using dragoon officer. This video is irrelevant once you know that.

I really love the heavy cavalry it's pretty fun class to play. But it still baffles me that dragoon officer gets the cav pistol which is so hilariously stupid idea. But in my opinion i love musketoon more since it deals more damage than cav pistol. like musketoon can deal 50 damage on body shot and 55 damage on headshot(even tho before the buff it used to deal 35 damage in long range) which is a W damage. Sure they slightly nerfed the accuracy on musketoon(because they don't want it to be like a rifle/light musket accuracy)but it still has pretty good accuracy better than the cav pistol. Overall the damage buff on horses definetly sounds awsome idea! I am speaking from 7 years experience of playing and using musketoon

agreed, i tried it thinking it would be officer but better, considering you get a horse, a better sword, and a more accurate but little longer reload gun, but I find myself ditching the horse asap since it makes me a target, only using it to get to point A and B. And since dragoon officer has cav pistol, it literally makes me not want to play it anymore. Needs a buff/balance something else to make it viable
