@@StillOnFire Fair. 🙂 Bunni's choices seemed very selfish at the expense of another player's game -- a player she intentionally forced into being her ally, no less! I also just watched NRB's latest BotCT episode where Adam pulls a similar stunt, and the echoes here are loud. Selfish play in a team game is rarely a good choice if you'd like to keep being invited to games and it rubs me the wrong way. But I can see someone seeing it as clever gamesmanship, I suppose. I just -- as you said -- disagree.

Sometimes it's to protect their own role, or keep information close to your chest. But usually it's because you almost never know if someone is on your team for 100% sure.

In this case it was for the lolz, I believe -- but most of the time the players cannot actually know for sure. For example, here, the Mez word for so common that Bunny actually had no way of knowing that Carley was indeed *the first* person to say it (which is, I gotta say, an unusual choice for a Mez word -- normally the ST makes the Mez work a little harder to recruit by giving something not likely to be just randomly said in town).

ECG should do player breakdowns. I would love to ask Bunni/Blue/Carley what their strategy was in this game. Heck I would love to pick many of their players brains! As a newer player it could give insight on some of the more nuanced interactions. That might be stupid, but I would like it.

I have to say the addition of the Vids is really nice, along with the flashes around the icons to show when someone is talking. I must say that some people look much differently than i had pictured them. I hate to say it, I had always thought Blue was an older Woman with gray/graying hair. Definatly not the case LOL

So i guess the scuba role could work like this. Night one pick a player while they are alive you cant die if they die you die. So essential they would be a good leech. Alternatively they could alsowake last night one and learn how many players woke in the night. Or they can have the ability to know if a fisherman is in play Regardless they can add a fishermen

I can't wait to get home and watch this. As usual, I have an edge case question. In Trouble With Violets, you could have a Townsfolk who nominates the Virgin, and immediately dies to the Witch curse. I've heard that it is both a Witch death and an execution, but since the curse acts first, the Undertaker doesn't see the one executed. I would assume the day ends before the vote. Does all of that sound correct? Also, are there other odd interactions, such as for the Cannibal / cursed executee?

If the Witch ability kills first, then your assumptions are correct. If the Virgin ability executes first, then the nominator died by execution and the Undertaker would learn the nominator's role. I haven't heard of the ruling you mention to determine which ability triggers first, but either way seems reasonable as long as it's consistent. That said, in the absence of further information, I would tend to favor the Virgin's ability triggering first because it has the word 'immediately' in it, which implies a certain priority.

And, in that case, UT's ability doesn't ping, since their death was not by execution. But how would anyone know the order of priority for things that happen simultaneously? I've never seen a list of character abilities prioritized.

I feel like you kind of set up Carley for the Mez turn, albeit unintentionally (I think). You favored Carleys private chats very heavily especially on that first day so with a commonly used word like script the chances were higher that she would be the one you hear say it.

While technically correct according to definition (simplified: meaning taking turns), everyone 'takes turns' sharing their role. Simply a cute phrase that caught on in the community at large. To each their own though! 🙏❤✨

I always enjoy watching your channel. One of the issues i have is there are a few people who believe they are much better than they really are. I don't want to name names, but they seem to want to be a really big part and believe their logic is superior (and most of the time it really isn't) Thankfully these type of players are very few and far between. I am putting this here simply because i just watched someone who fits this discription on another channel and they were the same on that channel as they are on yours. (I have not seen who the players are yet in this game, but I am really bothered by this type of play and it is only 1 or 2 players that i have seen that are like this)

I get frustrated by that too! They’re not bad people, they just think they’re smarter than the others so when someone makes a very good point with actual, solid evidence, they refuse to believe them because they think they’re smarter than them, even though theirs is just a hunch. Anybody who refuses to listen to other people in a collaborative group game bugs me.

Bunni is so annoying in this game. She seems like a lovely person but this was a terrible first impression for me, as this was my first ECG video I've ever seen. If I was in Carley's position I would've threatened to throw the game if she wasn't straight with me when Bunni claimed Imp, it was just that frustrating

As the first video I have seen on this channel so far(and a year late to the video as well) I fully agree with this. Just why do things like this? I know in a game like BOTC you often want to keep information as private as possible and you can never really fully trust people, but when 8 people were left it was obvious Bunni knew Carley was mezz turned and STILL she didn't give an evil team. I would have happily thrown based off that one conversation of Bunni going "mmmmmmm well your evil team is zee and Xavier :)" in the most untrustworthy tone imaginable. Once again, I know in BOTC you never want to fully reveal all your information, but when it's quite literally your own confirmed teammate? BOTC is a team game and you are actively hindering your own chances of winning just to gaslight someone else for no discernible reason.

The straight up fudging is tiresome and the weakest element of BOTC. The word was "Script" and Carley clearly said "Scripts". The word and targeting were clearly deliberate and even then you needed to cheat to make it happen. Pre-determined games are not fun.
