Here in the US they have coined the new term LAWFARE- anything goes when it comes to dealing with your political or ideological opponents. I am only a grandmother with no military experience whatsoever, but my first response to the January 6th debacle was where was the police force to provide security? Why were they caught so flat footed? Now with this attempted assassination of Trump, l am immediately reminded of Lee Harvey Oswald situated in the high point of the book repository. A diagram which l just saw on the news shows the roof top with the downed assassin. He used an assault rife. The distance from him to Trump at the podium is labeled as 400 feet and “ out of the security perimeter”. REALLY??? Am l the only one who wonders about the lameness of the so called federal protection provided by our government for one of its political opponents? Have we learned nothing from the deaths of JFK, RFK and MLK?
