Blood Rites Upgrade - Improving the Precon Commander Deck with $300 

I'd love to still see a 300$ upgrade for the face commander. Great video none the less. Keep up the good work

This deck seems like a fantastic response to all the go wide token decks recently. Would love for yall to revisit this or some of your favorite past upgraded decks or have viewers vote. Something like that

Nice video, also feel like Soul Shatter would be a nice Instant to add to the list, doesn't have a recursion like some of the creatures sadly, but it will likely hit the biggest creature/planeswalker they have. Also Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet as a payoff from enemies sacing creatures to have more sac fodder with the zombies.

this video was great & enjoyed that it was longer than most as it went into some great detail.

I decided to play clavileño for my build and leant into sacrifice triggers with cards like teysa karlov and drivnod to double the death trigger and get multiple draws/demons off the clavileño ability he places on vamps. Nice lines of play with ashnods altar and elenda the dusk rose into a huge mana sink like exsanguinate or getting big value off skullclamp. I took the bloodghast and exquisite blood out and put them into my braids, arisen nightmare deck. But i kept carmen in the 99 because shes still a great card. Another nice add from the main set is bloodletter of aclazotz.. doubles life lost which is tasty! Or even better is the roaming throne which can double triggers including clavileño's triggered ability allowing you to choose 2 attacking vamps per combat instead of only 1.

Pitiless Plunderer- whenever a creature you control dies, you get treasure. With Carman, this is a two-for-one deal Tergrid, God of Fright- We have so many sacrificed things, so why not fully invest in this engine and make it better. When your opponents sacrifice non-token perminents that permiment will come to play under your control. You get off Liliana's ultimate and have this thing on the board, your opponents might as well scoop

This build is very close to my Liesa, Forgotten Archangel deck. One of my favorite decks! Don't t forget Luminous Broodmoth, which bounces all non flyers back to the board w flying.

Nice I also added lake of the dead for land sacking and any fetch lands you can get and Gary for some fun life gain and drain

This is a very interesting direction: I was actually thinking that Carmen seemed really strong but not as this deck is constructed so switching most of the Vampire to Vampire-Demon token direction for just a sacrifice deck is definitively a good route. Plus I think that since you removed so many strong vampires it's not out of the question that you basically get 2 strong decks out of it: All the vampires removed can go into a second Orzhov Vampire>Vampire/Demon token deck for probably not a huge budget while still remaining fairly strong too.

Tragic arrogance would be perfect for this deck. It wipes away blockers and grows Carmen since it sacs. Makes for a potential one hit kill with commander damage.

hey :) I have the LOTR starter kit, and in it there is the "Witch-King Bringer of Ruin", "Nasty-End" and "Feed the swarm". Since I can't afford/can't find everything you added, are these cards something to consider? all the best! thanks

Love the change. Honestly better to Change if you feel the need. Shows us that there was a whole direction you could go outside of the vampire tribe.

Nobody likes the amount of removal i have but i am not going to die to this archetype. as cool as it is.

Can fleshbag marauder sack itself if you have other creatures? I cant find the rule for it.

Half way through the video, I'm kinda surprised that Tergrid wasn't an addition to this version of the deck.

As somebody who is new to the game of magic Let me explain why these guys are the absolute best, because thats exactly what they are. Additions- They not only tell you what cards to add ( which a lot of other upgrades videos do as well) but they tell you why you should add, giving you reasons such as synergy and flow. They go through each card and fully explain what it does and why you should add it, and why it’s so good in the deck. It’s very helpful especially if your not familiar with a certain mechanic or function that the deck offers Example: sacrificing these creatures, will cause everybody to sacrifice creatures, that will then cause your commander to get bigger while also giving you life, THEN YOU CAN REANIMATE. This is exact explanation is why these guys are incredible. Removals- This is one of the main reasons why I love this channel, not many if any at all give you a removal list, let alone explain exactly why they’re getting removed. And the reason I think it’s so important and so helpful is because if I have a very similar card that I might wanna add that then get removed, I can listen and hear why that card is getting removed. It is also very helpful because as a somewhat new player I think cutting is the hardest part about deck building and editing. Absolutely love you guys and your channel. Keep it up. I recommend it to everyone who will listen. You guys should honestly do a podcast where listeners submit moxfield decks and you do a couple adds and removals. Keep up the good work and thank you!!

would helm of the host allow you to copy carmen? that way we can bring 2 permanents into the battlefield if her beefy attacks resolve. Thoughts?

I mean I just played a game where I had 5 1/1 vampire tokens, attacked with them , then before dmg sacked them, and I had a token triple affect down with tesya down double his Clavineno abillty to he was making 10, but I also had down ojer taq and made 30 4/3 tokens, then I sacked 10 of them with visra seer, And I had bucther of malikar in play, and every had to sack 20 creatures, and then clapped next turn, I have found return to dust so useful, Got rid of omnisence and deafening silence in one turn, And other time 2 artficats like mesmeric orb and Urza's incubator, I find I have gotten so much value out of the card it's insane! And I have not really found a card that does this same thing better, I'd rather have this removal for 2 things only take up one card slot over 2, which i feel people don't think about march of the caniozed is to good for me to get rid of, OF course less in Carmen! but works great in clavineno

Since I saw that Commander I realized she is a monster. In high power games sacrifice is key and she flights, get u life, reanimate permanents and grow fast. 5 mana is a big down side but she is worthy.

I'm surprised I didn't see a Benevolent Bodyguard, lol literally a mom effect but it sacs itself

I strongly believe more money = more fun more wins. 300$ aint enough to fill the need....

Order of Sacred Dusk buffs the living f*** out of Carmen, if you can cast it with convoke, leave Carmen untapped and then swing with only her, you get stupid value. It also makes it easier if she gets removed and recast cause she gets that temp buff that makes her ability give more value

Just started playing mtg about 2 months ago and was looking forward to the $300 to play Vampires from the vampire deck. Pretty disappointed. I'm sure this is great but feels like "Hey look at this cool dino deck, let's take out all the dinos."

So Carmen is a selfish Mazirek death priest with a bit of strefan / Olivia with cheating cards out. Nice combination

I was excited about this video but now I’m I’m disappointed because you changed the commander which completely goes against the entire point of this deck. It’s supposed to be about summoning vampire tokens and then changing them into demons.
