If progress is made at this pace, whats the time line where you could play the game on a mid tier rig looking like?

A lot of reshade presets tend to just overdo the saturation/contrast and lose the original vibe of the game, but this one actually enhances it - a lot. Playing this at 4k/60 with upscaled textures and this reshade should be more or less like a fully fledged remake compared to the OG PS4 version, can't wait until all the kinks are ironed out.

Could be, today a version of it shut down my rig, hard resetting it. Was like a power surge going on and I tried for 3 times, and was exactly the same on the same spot each time. I was loading in my first save in Yharnam. Rx 6600

@@Waterbottlez_ Still, the CPU seeing so little utilisation compared to the gpu is very surprising to me. I keep hearing that emulators are hard on the CPU.

@@csabagalambos1461 depends on which emulator. RPCS3 is probably the heaviest one on the CPU, other ones like the Xbox 360 emulator (Xenia) is more reliant on GPU. PS4 was very very weak on the CPU side so any modern CPU should be fine, I'm guessing its more GPU heavy for the higher res/framerates.

@@user-wl2xl5hm7k There already exists a solution for IP and Copyright issues like this: its called file for the copyright or IP under the statue of abandonment, you could do this to Warhammer Fantasy if you wanted seeing the original creation of it has been long abandoned. Then it is up the actual publishers to prove that they did not abandon and IP or Copyright which requires proof they are still using it in term of monetary gain.

All IP laws abolished? That's quite the extreme take. IP is vital in many industries. If you cannot patent the inventions of your company, then you put yourself at a disadvantage by investing in research, since all your competitors will enjoy the benefits of your work, yet only you will bear the cost of it. A monopoly of limited duration on the invention therefore encourages innovation, without unduly restricting the improvement of the industry as a whole. If you cannot copyright your book as an author, then you won't see a dime from it, since anyone can print and sell it. Your work entering the public domain some time after you die gives society access to your work once you can no longer benefit from it. If you don't own your trademarks, anyone can sell inferior replicas of your product, pretending to be you. Trade secrets are a more ambiguous subject, you could make a sensible argument that they should be limited in time, much like patents. Corporations abuse IP to be sure, that's why the existing laws should be improved. The current, defective state of IP laws is no proof that a world without IP would be an improvement. I opened my mind as far as the hinges would permit, but "Against Intellectual Property" completely fails to consider the practical implications of what it proposes. It preaches freedom without any regard for the benefit of society as a whole.

If the team that is making this own the product that contain the ROM and game data that is being used what they are doing is perfectly legal you idiot. Even more if it is made public no theft has occurred and therefore does not meet the definition for piracy.
