Yeah, it was from "The Contestant Who Knew too Much" by Theodore (Ted) Slauson. He got tickets for over 30 shows and finally got called and it was because of the T-shirt that said "I'm here to kiss Holly" and on the back it said "Sorry Bob" Bob commented on it and said, "That's one kiss I'll gladly pass on!" When Ted got on stage in the middle of a pricing game, Bob called Holly over. Holly gave him a peck on the cheek but, then planted a kiss on his lips. Bob jokingly said "That's enough you two! I'm running a family show here!"

@mhyatt82262 Ha, you too? Wonder how many people out there have the same memories of staying home from school sick and watching Bob Barker on The Price is Right? It was my go-to. 8 year old me had no interest in soap operas and daytime talk shows but TPIR was always fun. When I was really little, like 4 or 5 Id watch it with my mom sometimes. For some I was afraid of the mountain climber falling off the mountain and if he got close Id hide my eyes so I didnt have to see him if he fell.

@@childofcascadia Glad to see that others enjoyed TPIR at such a young age but for me without cable tv and limited to the big 3 networks, it was very entertaining compared to school. I’m glad you mentioned that old mountain climber because I had almost forgotten that game. The mountain climber was my least favorite to watch for some reason. I suppose it was more difficult to make appear sensational because the prizes were mostly furniture and not a NEW CAR. Yea, I admit that was my least favorite game and it was seldom won or at least that’s how I remember. Thanks for sharing.

After Bob read about the death of arcades in the mid 1990s, he recognized that there was considerably less of a crowd reaction to Super Ball than there had been in the 80s. Since this game took considerably longer to play than most others, he had the game retired. This is similar to why the Phone Home Game was shelved; neither would work well with today's shorter episode length. I'd love to see Super Ball back for primetime specials though!

Show cancelled bc Barker was accused of sexual harassment it got so bad that he pressed Holly and others into supporting him when he was accused he threatened everyone on the mode's side and when they didn't comply he fired then.
