The term "one of a kind" is frequently applied incorrectly, but not in the case of Blossom Dearie. "Uniquely talented" doesn't do her justice. "Amazing" comes closer. Just loved her work.

Where on Earth have I been that I haven't discovered this Amazing Lady until now? I knew of her name from the ABC Saturday Morning School House Rock segment she did, "Figure Eight." I also believe she did a commercial for Canada Dry's Wink soda. I think I've just fallen in love with her. What a fantastic Jazz performer AND she plays piano too, which I didn't know. This is what is so great about RU-vid- so many fans posting their music favorites and people like me get to "discover" a new favorite! Thanks so much for this!

I even got to chat with her and thank her after the show. She was a wonderful person and a very talented artist.
