Hey man I’m having a problem with showering the hair. At first it was fine but now a little over a month later, as soon as the water hits the hair it turns into a knotted mess, almost like it’s matted down. And that’s just with the water alone. I have tried the pro hair labs shampoo and conditioner as well as remysoft and pro touch. None seem to make a difference. Once the hair is finally combed out it seems fine but it’s very hard to do. I haven’t had this problem before, please help. I also have a shower filter and a water softener so I don’t think it has anything to do with that.

I've used all the products you've mentioned and more, with the same issues you mention. What I've been using for the last several months is Maroccanoil Repair shampoo and Repair conditioner. It's crazy expensive, but my hair systems last me about a month or more longer since using it, and my hair is soft, shinny and holds much more of its color than over the lifetime of the unit. (it is safe for color treated hair) I too also have the shower filter. So the added cost of the shampoo and conditioner has actually saved me one unit a year. I used to get four and now I only have to get three. Well worth the $80ish for the shampoo and a little goes a long way. Hope that helps.

Hmm, mine sometimes get matted up. Sometimes it doesnt. I do find that the more styling products I use or the longer I go with adding styling product on top of styling product on top of leave in etc it can cause a nightmare. What I learned was If your going to use styling products, you can only put them in your hair every few days. As they dont fully rinse. That maybe the issue

@@HairExperience Agreed. I only put products in my hair every couple of days. After the initial application, the next couple of days, I just wet my hands and runs them gently through my hair, just enough to reactivate the products, then I restyle like normal.

Same happens to me, and I end up losing a ton of hair out of the system trying to sort it out. A wigmaker told me to use argan oil on it, and also brushing through some leave in conditioner before washing it helps. Also you probably know this already but don’t rub the shampoo/conditioner in, pat it around instead

Hey Curtis, glad you're back. I'm with you on the minimal use of products in my hair. I don't even like to blow dry it though I do blow dry it in the front a bit, just like you, to get the body for a pomp. The only two products I use in my hair (for styling) are Maroccanoil Hydration Styling Cream (added to my wet hair b4 blow drying) and then I use a light dusting of the alcohol free Healthy Sexy Hair Pure Addiction hair spray. Have been using those since I started the hair thing over a year and a half ago and have never had an issue. I totally agree with you, the lest products and less blow drying, the better your hair will look and the longer the unit will last.

Best video yet, this was my main reason for two failed experiences, I hadn't had hair for 20 years and never blow dried when I did, so I panicked when I had hairs flying and falling around everywhere, ended up with flat hair from too much product and hated it it. When I go back to it, this will be thing I practice most,

Question- So I’m getting my first unit installed Tues and I’m pumped! I received it yesterday and I kind of put it on my head to just get a little taste of what to expect. So my question is this- it is EXTREMELY dense, best way to describe it is almost like bride of Frankenstein, now obviously I know I need to get it cut and styled, but is it normal for the hair to be so “big” and dense before I get it cut?

That's a unique brush with round bristles. What's it called? I've always used those round-tube like brushes with mini sharp bristles cus my bio hair is fine.

Hey, its not really unique. Its a pretty basic nylon cushion brush. Sold at most any store that sells hair brushes

awesome! it looks incredible. you said this piece rode your mexico trip and your week in the pool , what glue did you use ? I'm using ghost bond right now and it lasts a week at the most . im looking for something a little stronger now that I'm getting better at applying my hairpiece thanks to your videos !

Thanks. I used my "stick it clear bond" and Davlyn Green. I put on the davlyn before I left the house to go. And took my stick it for any redos

Hey, depending on the unit. A knot sealer will help if its a lace system.

@@HairExperience I am trying to decide on either the invisiskin or invisilace, I want a hairline plus longevity, I do tend to sweat alot in the gym, I live in CT so only really hot in June July and Aug.and was hoping not to mess with it to much in between, so I'm guessing tape it down all the way around?

Do you have any pics or customers that have gotten an " Ivy league " style cut with one of your systems? My stylist says its prob not possible. But I dont see why not. It would just be an exposed hairline in the front and down one side. Seems like one of your swiss lace systems would do the job.

If I understand the question correctly. I get pics all the time from my clients with great haircuts - styles. Mostly any style should be achievable with a hair replacement. But there are some that are not. Hope that helps!

Just out of curiosity not to say anything bad about your hair but if you’re wanting volume thicker and chunkier why don’t you get thicker density hair when you have thin hair you really can’t do anything to it? Majority of the pompadour the good styles the faux hawk whatever it may be are done with thicker density.
