The lead singer Linda Perry is one of the most underrated singer songwriters ever. She has written for Pink, Dolly and Gwen. This song just grabs you and forces you to sing along. I love your reaction.
I am 72 years old and heard this song by this group for the 1st time about 2 years ago. My reaction to hearing it for the 1st time was very, very much like your reaction. It has become my favorite song of all time, and it brings me to tears every time I hear it now. I have also played this song over and over again. It is soooo emotional and meaningful. Whew.

Fantastic song! Can't believe it's been 30 years since it was released. I saw where you just reacted to a Dolly Parton song... well, she recently covered this song along with Linda Perry (the 4non Blondes lead singer). It might not warrant a reaction, but it's a sweet video production worth watching. By the way, great reaction to this original!

This is a little embarrassing, but I always thought the singer was a guy with really good pipes like Geddy Lee, Geoff Tate, Robin Zander ish. I had only heard them on radio, so I had no idea who they were. It's better to know she's a hot broad.😍
