On this episode we get one of our projects we built on faster with Finnegan and prep it for a 800 mile road trip. This is our 1978 ford fairmont we built a few years ago. It was first used on an episode where we battled Cory LaJoie at Atlanta Motor Speedway. He took this junk around the track at nearly 140 mph. We then brought it back from the dead and built ourselves a burnout car where we battled Bill Goldberg. Now, we're taking it on a road trip to Roadkill Nights. First we need to make sure its ready to go.

No hate on the LS swap. That's what they did back in the day. Work with what they had and wind up with an Awesome vehicle in the end. I would rather see builds like this that the average Joe can build. Keep turning those wrenches and be safe. WOOO!

Mr. B . Here ! I am not a fan of LS’s ; BUT if your budget $$$ is what you are working with that is engine . Hell flat heads were the original hot rod engines people ! My drivers ed car was a fairmont with a 6 cylinder. My buddies and I had a contest to see who could get it to burn out first. The instructor picked up on our shenanigans pretty quick.

Freiburger posted a pic on Facebook that you guys left already. I’m so bummed on won’t be on i75 this week, even though I was in Pontiac yesterday and I live in Toledo. But I’m a truck driver and I’ll be in western Michigan for the rest of the week. Seeing you all caravaning together would of been the highlight of my birthday week.

Hello Dave, nice video. How old is your boy now? It appears to me that you have a pretty good relationship with him, that's something to cherish, you know only going to be this age for about 15 minutes and then he'll be off on his own. - What the hell! Where is the shot of the four-wheeler after dark? Wanted to see those lights! And like several others have mentioned, that helmet is useless if not strapped on.
