The BFG Vickers Sling has long been the golden standard of slings. Dating back to around 2012-ish, the sling was quite possible the first to use the quick adjustment system. This simple yet elegant system allows the sling to be lengthened or shortened with the pull of a tab.
The system has been replicated to some extent by other sling producers. LBT and Ferro concepts use a spring loaded clamp, but I've come to consider if such a small spring is reliable over extended periods of use.
The Frank Proctor sling forgoes the tab and is adjusted directly from the triglide. It's ultra light weight and currently my second favorite sling; after the Vickers.
