Another side canyon offers us a break from paddling with enticing pools and waterfalls to soothe us.
We enjoy the swift flowing water back on the Colorado River. Nothing but riffles to negotiate today.
S. A. M.’s thermometer pegs at 125 degrees F (52* C) then simply reads “HOT.” Yes, indeed…HOT.
We cruise about 25 miles today.

seriously how professional are these guides? dare i say not the youngest chickens and not only make sure they are safe but that they enjoy an excellent experience. and all the side detours to see wonderful sights..

yeah no paddle plenty of beer.... life on the river..... going no where in a hurry.... thank you for all of us who are unable for many reasons to enjoy this adventure in person.
