This view from a camera mounted on steam locomotive 3237 and looking back to locomotive 5917 - a 2-8-2 'Mikado' built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in 1953 for the New South Wales Government Railways. The Lachlan Valley Railway engines were in the Blue Mountains over the weekend of 27-28 September with shuttle trains between Valley Heights and Katoomba. This sequence shows the engines working hard on the 1-in-33 (3%) grades between Bullaburra and Wentworth Falls, in an area known as Rhondda Valley, on Sunday, 28th September 2014.
