Welcome back! Today my client got her hair dyed indigo with Joico semi permanent color and then wave curled. all products can be found at deeperthanhair.com!
She seems like the kind of lady who would help you find your mom when you were lost in the grocery store when you were 6 Edit: I’m talking about the stylist
Here I am at midnight, a Hispanic man, with short hair watching these videos mesmerized and listening to her soothing voice, while watching how she does hair.
She said she ain't that good at doing this hairstyle. 🤔 That's a while lie. Got that women looking like she about to walk down a runway. You the bomb boo!
Her hair is just so beautiful! I am always impressed with how skillful hairdressers are especially with black hair (I'm white and have wavyish hair) and they are just like magicians!
I love how honest the stylist is about her skills- what she’s not comfortable with or doesn’t 100% have the hang of. 😍 Humility just makes you that much more lovable.
She's the type of hairstylist you can tell her what you want, go to sleep and wake up with exactly what you imagined. Love your channel I just subscribed last week!
Katherine German yup... they're called complementary colours. Colours opposite on the colour wheel are complementary. That's why Christmas looks amazing with green and red
Im literally jealous! My flat ass hair could never do some of the beautiful things black ladies hair can do. They can do pretty much any style they want. I started watching cause my sister is biracial and has very kinky dry hair, and a couple my girls, that are black and one biracial been helping me learn to do her hair. My mom left us at a early age, so my grandparents cant do her hair..but i just learned how to braid to the scalp and the importance of conditioning cause her hair texture takes alot different shampoo alot less and...its just we all learning as a family. But im so excited to help my sister try knew things. She hates her hair but i tell her how much i love it, and try my best to help her love it too. Thx so muxh for ur uploads!! Im on my like 6th video :)
My niece is and biracial and her momma would put baby lotion in her extremely curly hair....and not a little...a lot....until she would have it plastered to that poor babies head and then throughout the day as it dried it would curl and there she would go with that brush and lotion again. I stood in the hair care aisle in the section for poc hair and waited to spring all the haircare question on some poor stranger and brought what she needed hone and told her that she had beautiful CURLY hair and to stop that nonsense.
@@patricialake104 omg! Brings bk memories. I used to do my baby girl's know 18yr old) hair with the pink baby lotion. Made it so curly & smell good. U wud be sniffing my baby all day. Heehee
Hair like that is the most beautiful hair a woman can have, nothing beats it :) Sits elegantly and frames the face and the neck more beautifully than any other length or style of hair. It's just visual perfection to me, lol
I love watching natural hair videos bc I wanna be a cosmetologist and a lot of schools near me don’t teach how to care for natural hair, and I know a lot of black women don’t go to white hair stylists but yknow in case it ever comes up I wanna be able to have some knowledge and be able to cater to anybody, as well as it just fascinates me to see the magic these women do. It’s such an art, and it’s beautiful. These videos are also so soothing! I love this channel a lot!
Blk women should only stick with blk stylists. Any other stylist does not understand the texture of African American hair and will mess up their hair. It is what it is and the women know this.
Nunya Bizzz false Ive been going to the same stylist to straighten and trim my hair since I was in 9 I’m 19 now and she has never damaged or don’t anything that I wouldn’t do to my hair ..
Nunya Bizzz I’m sorry but that’s not true just because they black doesn’t mean they can do black hair some times yes but all the time no I could have curly type 4c hair and the client can have 3c and just because I’m black doesn’t mean I can do her hair I can completely mess it up and also that was very rude she is trying to learn about us and ur bringing her down
@Lisa I agree I believe that was a very emotional statement that person made and I can understand where it was coming from but it was ignorant, just like the experience I had when I was 18. Thinkin I can get my hair braided from a lady from the motherland(Africa) and she did not know what to do with my natural hair at all. Instead of combing from the from the ends to the roots, which you should do in the detangling process. She started from the roots to the ends and I was too bashful to get out of her chair even though it was painful and she was destroying my hair but I should have.
The color and the flat curl style came out so nicely. If I saw someone with hair like that on the street, I would fall in love with them in a heartbeat.
Shandreia Copeland same here & is why I taught myself from 15 to do my hair. Nobody touches my hair but me and I’ve rocked all sorts of colors and styles. I’m growing out a Mohawk now and my mom just had me cut her hair like mine bc she liked it so much lol. You should totally teach yourself especially now they got RU-vid tutorials etc just make sure you get you some good tools. It was so worth it for me to learn on my own head. I always get people wanting me to do their hair but I’m not licensed so...lol
@@The_Salty_Siren you should invest in getting your license, even if just for side income. I know some people don't want to because clients can be inconsistent, BUT there are a lot of women (and men) who feel the same as you, so maybe you can help them out... I'm natural and it took me a while but I found someone I trust to keep my hair healthy (and not try to do their own thing when I tell them exactly what I want 🙄) been with her for years now and she's planning to retire so she can be an instructor for the same reason you are doing your own hair (too many unprofessional, careless cosmetologists working)
I'm a dyed in the wool naturalista. But the reason I prescribe to this sister's channel is two fold: 1. I love her personality and her professionalism. She is knowledgeable and describes her styling techniques and products in easy to understand language. I love to watch her hands as she works. You can tell she loves what she does! 2. The. Hair. Be. LAID!!! The cut, color and styles are always FYRE! THIS SISTER STYLES WITH HEART! I don't even like no colors that don't occur on a person's head naturally but this blue here is resonating!
Such class lovely lady. Giving a shot out to someone else who you learned a technique from. 😂😂😂😱I thought you could do it all. Beautiful on so many levels.💞
I love watching this so beautiful, and I also do hair, but Black Queens always amaze me with the magic they perform with hairstyles. This is definitely an art❤️
Hi Im also a cosmetologist. I adore your videos and have learned so much for styling natural hair and curls. You should start teaching classes as well, I know a bunch of other cosmos who would love to learn more.♡
Half of them are probably people who are jealous of not being able to pull of the color, the hairstyle or just don't like that they can't do it themselves.
I am so extremely fascinated by your channel!! This really calms me down. I'm really interested in learning how to take care and style textured hair. Im a white teen girl, but there's just something about it that I just love! Amazing channel!! You're extremely talented!
Overnight curls, sis. That's the style I'm taking up at the moment. Lasts all day too without the heat. Looks absolutely amazing too, I bet you'll get compliments😊
As someone with blue hair I'm honestly impressed that those beautifully colored nails survived.. Every time my hair's dyed everything my hair touches for the next week turns blue.
You are awesome at that technique. I can’t imagine how you could be any better! And that blue is sick! I can’t imagine how that looks outdoors with sunlight👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I don't know how or why I ended up here, but I'm like 3 videos in and watching/listening to you work is so fascinating and soothing. I'm hooked and subbed.
I'm a white girl with straight ass hair but I live on this channel because not only is it so relaxing but the hairstyles are always so cute!! I've never seen a hairdresser this talented
Love how she gave the other stylists credit. Grow together, I’m here for it. Definitely earned a subscribe from me!! Blue is my favorite color btw so this is dope lol
Lol I just feel serene having watched this video is it just me or do other people feel that calm vibe? 🤣 I love the colour, the curls! Such skill and talent.❤️❤️❤️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Your extraordinary!! These hairstyles you be doing and the guts to say “NO!” To a customer if they’re doing something that will make the hair unhealthy, or whatever!! Love your hair styles and you hav earned a new subscriber!
Ma'am. I just want to say you are baaaddd. I Love the fact that you really believe in treating the clients hair and informing them what needs to be done and also listening to the clients wants. You always do a fantastic job. Keep on keeping on. God bless you and your other stylist in your shop.
When I first start watching and I think it’s going terrible, and then I see the end results. My jaw hit the floor. Absolutely stunning. Wondering what this client does for a living. I would love to go to work with blue hair.
Old vid popped up when I needed it. Not for styling, I’m natural, BUT stylist’s soothing voice, music + style of filming makes me feel like a MEDITATION/SPA EXPERIENCE. Feeling IN THE ZONE. Thank u from Michigan (need u here!)😍👏🏾👩🏽🦱
Tierra J Beauty ❤️ seeing one of my faves commenting on another one of my faves! Both of you ladies are sooo amazing! I’m in hair school now, so both of y’all are my favorite go to’s for methods and techniques ☺️
Kee, your videos are so therapeutic . Thoroughly enjoy watching them. You Educate Us, Bring Joy To Us, Have Love for Us. Who could ask for anything more? I feel the passion that you have for life & your profession. It shines as bright as the golden sun! What you do for hair is Miraculous and I am so grateful that you showed up on my feed for me to have a glimpse. Thank You Ps... you're a blessed motivational speaker and in my mind I see you working with women and youth even within shelters , it's really important for them to see the beauty within❣May blessings continue to rain down on you 🦋
@@lordfarquaad1202 As a colorblind person, I just tend to believe whatever people say the color is: Me: *Reads title* Me: Oh, cool! Blue hair! She: It's actually purple Me: Oh cool! Purple hair! She: But you're seeing blue in the camera Me: Oh cool! Blue hair! It's a trip
WOW SHE WENT FROM A BRASSY BLONDE COLOR TO A DEEP VIOLET TYPE BLUE DIAMOND WIT BLUE HIGHLIGHTS. GORGEOUS AND BEAUTIFUL. I GIVE THE STYLIST 5 STARS. U GO GIRL.
YOU SHOULD CALL THIS STYLE *BLUE FLAMES* cuz this is fire for real! The color is bad! I loved watching this video! Your voice overs are super detailed and clear! I like how you keep it exactly what it is so people who are visual learners can pick up on it. If I did hair I would constantly think of your ways while doing that style on someone.
