Here's a song I learned as a little boy in my primary school choir. I happened to be learning guitar at the same time, so I tried to figure out by ear what the chords would be. I knew G, C and D, but there was one chord missing that I couldn't figure out. I wasn't until recent years that I finally figured out that it was a C minor! I played it for many years by just not playing anything where that chord was supposed to be. It's a pleasure now to be able to fill in the gap!
Blue Spanish eyes,
Teardrops are falling from your Spanish eyes!
Please, please don't cry;
This is just adios and not goodbye.
Soon I'll return,
Bringing you all the love your heart can hold!
Say, si, si, si!
Say you and your Spanish eyes will wait for me.
Blue Spanish eyes,
Prettiest eyes in all of Mexico!
True Spanish eyes,
Please smile for me once more before I go.
Soon I'll return,
Bringing you all the love your heart can hold!
Say, si, si, si!
Say you and your Spanish eyes will wait for me.
Say you and your Spanish eyes will wait for me.
Spanish eyes, wait for me, si, si, si!
Say you and your Spanish eyes will wait for me.
