I’m poor to bro and just got mine might have to do some trading I traded from a 1500 Miata up to a srt in a month traded the Miata for a Beamer and Beamer for the srt!! It’s possible brother I can easily sell mine for 4-5k and i technically paid 2k for it
You are so right about the stuff adding up fast I’m afraid to make that list myself because I’m building 2 cars a sxt summer daily and a weekend warrior SRT !!!
Im I’m the same boat I just got a clean one owner bone stock 04 silver and have been building it up. Got the mpx catch can, torque solution mount kit, agp intake and agp big wheel turbo with all the new oil and water lines. 3” mpx 02 housing and 3” needswings downpipe used off fb marketplace. Goes in for 3” from the dp back next week I’m so hyped. Love this car
The AGP kit is money. Glad they still make it for such an old platform. I got my blue 04 off an older guy. He maintained it very well and the engine compression numbers indicated a very healthy engine. They’re tough to find in good condition.
the oem original is installed with double sided tape i gently pulled /pried it off cleaned off the left over tape and installed the new one the same way
some of the prices on some parts now are at the point you just want to pass on them. I still have a shelf full of parts to add to this car one thing i can say there's a good bit of transmission input shafts available now "not cheap"..
