Been a Maggie Siff fan and watched her shows since Mad Men. She’s a huge talents and seems like a lovely person. Had no idea of the tragedy she’s overcome these past few years. Wishing her and her daughter all the success and happiness in the world. ❤
You are great, Maggie! Tara was my favorite character of SOA and I didn't want to watch the series anymore after her death. I wish to see your works more often ❤
Maggie is such a sweet soul, she speaks with such delicacy and it really made me appreciate her as an actress who so clearly understands and loves what she does.
Love Maggie Siff on SOA. I always said the show is about the club, but these two ladies Katey and Maggie brought their A-game to their roles and handled themselves well amongst all these tough guy characters. Her singing Lullaby For A Soldier (Arms Of The Angels) in that one episode, so beautiful❤🔥
Loved this episode with the lovely and talented Maggie! My heart continues to go out to her (and her daughter) over the loss of her husband. So grateful to you and Katey for doing "PIE", and thank you again for this conversation with Maggie. Selfish share: Thank goodness for the Anarchy Afterword with you, Katey and Maggie, after the episode where Gemma killed Tara. Lord knows it was a TV show and all, but I was so heartbroken and pissed over that whole thing, and seeing Katey and Maggie brought me back to reality and seeing the love they had for each other helped me over that hump! LOL
Maggie is an angel. She radiates kindness, beauty, love. She is so delicate yet strong. It broke my heart seeing her talk about Paul and Lucy. My dad passed away when I was 7 from a brain tumour, and seeing Maggie here has made me think of my mom, and what she went through to still make sure I had a happy childhood and happy memories of my dad. It takes so much strength and courage and love. Thank you Katey and Kurt for being so kind and sensitive and respectful of her telling her story. Maggie is pure beauty, inside and out ❤
Actually they didn't. If you think about it, Tara was actually in a good place when she died. Jax sacrificed himself for her. In doing so, she got the security she wanted for her and the kids and as a bonus, she and Jax reconciled.
Maggie is a breath of fresh air! Thank you for having her on the PIEcast. Love her on SOA even moreso on Billions. She killed it on both shows! So very sorry for her and Lucy’s loss.
OMG! Love Love Love Maggie!!!!! Just a great conversation!!! Yes, she is awesome on stage. I have seen her several times. Going to see at "Breaking the Story"
maggies story about her dads splintering journey of career "discovery" is inspiring. to think, as a parent myself, that I am not limited by age or circumstance is refreshing even if im totally satisfied with my life at the moment
I love the fact that you guys are doing a podcast, I really miss SOA. It's the best tv show out there in my opinion, I was deeply invested in the characters. Would love to meet you all some day.
Just for some clarification; the city of "Saskatoon" is in the province of "Saskatchewan". You were both right! Much love to you all from Alberta, Canada. Thanks for your work and great podcast, and love having you here. xo
That is neat shooting film in Calgary! I live here there is quite a few things being shot here now. Maggie is awesome, great gal and amazing mom. This podcast will be huge one day.
I love Maggie Siff. She oozes kindness and a caring nature. I felt the sadness in her interview with Katey and Kurt. I lost my dad to cancer when I was 7 years old. I wish Maggie all the best. Such a beautiful lady. She was absolutely brilliant in Sons of Anarchy. Maggie and Charlie Hunnam made the characters so real, absolutely perfect chemistry between them both. I would love to see them reunite in the future.
By far p.i.e. is one of my favorite podcasts! And sons…… Sons of Anarchy was and still is absolutely, without a doubt, the best show to date! Much love and support from this huge fan in Kentucky!😍❤️
Kurt Sutters writing is simply amazing sons of anarchy os a show i often watch over and over because the characters are just so incredible the differnet journeys they go on is just a wild ride and massive credit to kurt for hos portrayl of otto was always pulling for him to get through and katey sagal is just a wonderful actress no one else could have played gemma the way she does and her singing is just fantastic the music on SOA is perfect wouldnt change a thing about the show cant wait for the abandonments
SOA fan here. I’m quite new to podcasts…listening to you both is a real treat. 1st: love the concept of PIE+eating pie at the end and why it’s a favorite…what an absolute creative way of ending great conversations. 2nd: Maggie and Katey were my 2 favs on SOA. Now back to my nightly routine before it gets too late. I’m already behind because I didn’t want to stop listening to your podcast with Maggie. I appreciate both your authenticity and actually allowing your guests to speak without being overbearing.
I did the same exact things with my kids as Kurt. Making them laugh and hearing the kids laugh was a drug for me. I couldn’t get enough of the giggling and laughing. That was music to my ears. THEN came buying the kids all kinds of fun stuff. The kids are in their late 20’s and 30’s now but they always talk about all the cool toys they had and the fun we had.
My Dear Maggie, it was so great seeing you on this podcast. I recently listened to your episode of the Reaper Reviews podcast w Theo and Kim, and now i really want to see you with the rest of the SOA cast. You are a strong and beautiful queen❤️🔥
Love Maggie, she was awesome on SOA but she stole the show in Billions. The best show on TV until they ended it recently. I really hope she shows up in one of the spin-offs.
What a great conversation! I was so excited when I found out that Maggie was your guest. She has such grace and eloquence while still being funny and badass. I would love to see both of you work with her again. She an amazing actress and human being. I hope you can get Charlie and the rest of the SOA gang on at some point, especialy Theo. His views on life and acting blow me away.
I mentioned this before, I really love your podcast Kurt and Katey, great guests!! I also have a question for Katey Sagal. Katey, if you could step into the shoes of any character you've played for a day, who would it be and why? I ask only because I have been a long time fan of yours and find you play each character that feels so real and true to a core.
I’m from Texas and this is my Canadian buddy’s favorite joke. An older couple from Texas was touring North America by train. Somewhere in Canada the train makes its next stop, and the wife wakes up the husband and says “honey, go find out where we are”. Husband walks out and asks the conductor, who replies “Saskatoon Saskatchewan.” The husband returns and the wife asks “so where are we?” Husband says “I don’t know, the son of a bi*^h doesn’t speak English.” Love the show and of course SOA, keep up the great work 👍🏼
Maggie is so amazing! The range of her acting is incredible and she made me constantly want to see her on the screen of SOA. I think she stole scenes as Tara when she wasn’t necessarily the focus of them- a testament to her ability and talent 🫶🏻
I'm loving catching up on the podcast. We are currently re watching Sons 😊 & loving it all over again. Kurt I have a side question, my son Elliott is 14 and wants to be a creative writer. What advice would you give a young writer? He's currently writing small projects, all filled with adhd/autism perspective which is so blunt its hilarious. I'd love to encourage it. I'm not college trained and tbh he's way above me in intelligence and I want to try and provide a safe space to encourage his writing. What would you love to have been told as a young writer? All the best Debs, Bristol, UK x
Love the Eames chairs have wanted one for so long beautiful i know it's off subject but everytime i watch the podcast that's what i keep focusing on lol. But I really enjoy the content have a good day and stay safe Jimmy from North Attleboro Mass.

I just finished watching SOA for the fifth time last night🥲 It’s still raw every time ❣️ I am so glad Maggie did this remote so she didn’t go into the kitchen with Katey for a coffee break😂 You guys are the benchmark couple in everything 🙏 Thank you Kurt and Katey for being you❣️
I have a feeling Charlie or Ron will be on after May 18th because they will be at a comicon together in Michigan !! Remember this comment if I'm right !
I’m not sure if it’s just something my family did, or how common it is, but as a kid my grandma used to make “gooseberry pie”. I can’t even say I remember what it tastes like? I do remember loving it, when I was a kid, though ❤
A question for Maggie Siff, hopefully she sees this and replies. Maggie, throughout your career, you've portrayed complex and multi-dimensional characters. How do you approach finding the humanity in roles that may initially seem distant or challenging?
The storyline about Gemma's dad really resonated with me personally because my mom had Alzheimer's and had to be in a nursing home that could handle people who have it. Like Maggie, I had two older siblings 13 and 10 years older than me.
🤩🤩☺️🤓🤓 CHARLIE HUNNAM 🕊️🦄👑🦄🕊️ COUPLE PARFAIT 👍. { MAMA 😍🌹😍 GEMMÃ } LA REINE DES SONS OF ANARCHY 🤓🦄😇🦄🤓 : LE PETIT JÉSUS 🥹👑😊 ADORE LE FILM 🌟😇🌟, CLEAY 😂 IL EST OÙ 🤔🧐🙄😁😘?
I'll be honest. I hated Tara in SOA 😂 but it was a huge part which I understand was crucial to the Series. She is a great actress and many love her . Maggie will always be remembered as Tara Knowles MD. To me 😁 Keep up the great work Kurt & Katey 👍
This is amazing. Although we've never met - you don't know me and I don't know you - when I heard your family story on the podcast, I already knew the whole thing, from what Paul told me. Wow, I have lots of things to complete and tell you. You have no idea how much.
