Blueprint is such a talent because he's always thinking of ways to learn. He picks up the best books, the best arts, the best tunes, and capitalizes. He does it with honor and responsibility. He's not like most musicians because not only does he do it for love, but his love is only intelligence.
i really love this song man. you can tell blueprint takes his time on all his classic records. yo man if you're reading this - heres my obligatory rap-fan thank you. you've really helped me grow up since 2003. i love my parents but sometimes it feels like i was raised on rhyme sayers entertainment ha
This is an incredibly well written track. I'm posting this to FB because I feel people need to be reminded of everything in this song more often. If only everyone was able to look at life and each other with this "perspective", love would certainly win out and peace could finally come to this world. Thank you.
how you gonna thank ME for subscribing when the lives that you're unwinding are rebuilding from within. infusing rhymes about chaotic times and the fight against the highest crimes. but what about ME in all of us. don't underestimate the power of another soul touched. another tossed crutch. another mind awoken. another cycle broken. your words hit me with love and i reflect it right back. I'm white and you're black but this isn't a race. I'm proud to say you've invaded my space. it's too commonplace for uncommon faces to keep to their own. I love positivity I'm never alone. THANK YOU for existing.
such an awesome song. this dude speaks the truth. how many rappers are spitting the truth like this? nah they're to busy going on about their money, jewlery, cars, hoes, etc. Seriously love this.
I wish this song were part of requisite listening for being a human and/or, at minimum, a minimum requirement to absorb the message and write an essay on what it's about as a mandatory minimum before posting on any form of social media. In a word, "beautiful"
Preach on, man, preach on. I'm out of words. I have always questioned the toxic word "priviledged" that has been overused and ruined by Twitter. When he spells it out it all makes sense. This man should be a professor in every university in this planet.
The rap world needs more songs like this. I'm so tired of rappers rapping about rap and why they are better than others at their craft. There are so many talented artists who seem to be stuck in some kind of self-referecial shadow boxing routine. That's where Blueprint differs from the norm.
I know this guy deserves to have millions and millions of fans, but I like him this way,you wanna know why? because it feels like I have different music taste from others.
I was in a car accident last night. I was just down and furious until this morning when I read about two separate car accidents where multiple people lost their lives. Perspective. Birds-eye view.
It really makes me wonder why this isn't huge in the mainstream. People just don't seem to care about a real artist that speaks sense, but are happy listening to "I fuck bitches, I've got more money than you, I drives Ferrari's, I have a mansion". No wonder so many people are completely clueless about what's going on in the world and are oblivious to real issues that effect peoples lives. If I had it my way, nearly every independent artist that actually has talent and tackles real issues would be huge, especially the artists of the Rhymesayers Entertainment label. While utter shite like Drake, Kanye, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, etc, would be unheard of.
That's great man. It's beautiful up here... might shed a tear! Priceless human wisdom you're channelling with your rap, the real messages people need.... the Blueprint. Thank you. Peace from the UK.
This is one of the best songs I've heard this year. This song should be in rotation right now. Heard it by chance on public radio in Tampa, FL. Powerful track.
My little brother showed me one of your songs about 25 minutes ago. 5 songs in, I'm a subscriber. Keep it up, very well done, just excellent listening.
GREAT TRACK!!!! Different spelling to my name however we see the same things, same perspective. I guess that's the message behind this track. Love this joint.
Had to get a new cd player in my car after grabbing a couple of Carnage's new joints. Got me throwing Respect the Architect back in the mix. Whole Album is bangers, but this one... Take us to church Print!
Sup Blueprint! I saw you once, with Atmosphere, at the Crystal Ball Room in Portlandia 😂. I appreciate your approach to your music, and the message , resonates. Change is coming. I truly believe in Jesus , and his ability to help us all heal the wounds of the past , and the righteous will rise to the top. Ja bless , and keep on working ! Chosen ones' , like you, and the rhyme sayers, have a long awaited reward coming. Can you feel it? Prophecy yo. ☮️ Joe DRT THA GURU on all platforms 💚 AKA DEVINE The Chosen One ❤ #rojo forever ..
"Okay, I give up. I'm convinced this familiar-sounding sample to this track is the gospel song "A Praying Spirit" by The Clark Sisters. I'm sure producer, IMAKEMADBEATS knows the answer for this gospel-soul fused track called "Perspective" by rapper Blueprint, off his recently-released 2014 album "Respect The Architect." This is a solid well-produced track, combining many current events (Trayvon, Sandy Hook, India Gang-rape) with conscious themes of empathy,... compassion and awareness. (0:55) "I don't care if youre living in a high rise, You're no different from a man in a hut Every single life is sacred in God's eyes You ain't worth more 'cause you got more stuff I don't care what color your skin is I don't care about your fortune and fame I just want for us to have more perspective And understand everybody's pain is the same. Perspective."
