Blåkuffertproductions I will post more advanced lessons for sure. Since I just started out in August, I put up a lot of beginners and intermediate lessons. I hope my viewers learn quickly 😊 so I can post more advanced lessons.
That sounds great! Really liked your transcription of 'Misty' and 'Autumn Leaves'. Would be great having more "levels". First learning the "easy" ones and then learning them in a more advanced style. Thank you in advance!
Thx for the answer and explain. I agree that both ways sounds well and that the “mistake” sounds well in the flow of the phrase. I found your tuto very instructive, and well explained. Very interesting the fact of playing complex chords with less notes. I acquired new voicings patterns. Thx Best regards.
Dear Sandra, where have you been all this time?? I searched "Blues for Alice" and was fortunate enough to reach you and your wonderful way of teaching. I have been around some other sites long enough to say that you REALLY want your audience to learn. Wonderful progressions and way of explaining them. Thank you very much for all of this. I would like to purchase many of the Tablatures of your teachings, but I could not find a link. could you please point me to the right direction? Thanks again for being this wonderful person.
Great, nice arrangement. Well explained, although Id probably change a couple things for my own taste. Awesome foundation to the song's harmony. Great video
great lesson Sandra.... very helpfull to learn to play with others i was wondering, do you have any lesson for a jazz blues progression and tips how to jam on it like on the style for example kenny burrell?
Hello thx for the tuto! One question: the chord at the 39:14 shouldn’t be with a F# instead of F for the lead note? For A dorian? Is there a way to explain why the F should work? Thx
You are right. It's supposed to be an F#. And that's the way I wrote it actually. But I think the flow of the previous quartal voicings, that always included the f, made me automatically play that Dm11, instead of D11. It's a mistake. But it works, bc the ear has already got used to the f in the previous quartal Voicing, leading to that one. It works like outside playing. As long as there is a system behind it (like an arpeggio, that goes through different keys), it makes sense to the listener. So you can play it the correct way as a D11, with the F# as top note or like here as an Dm11 and keep the flow. It's up to you. Btw, you're the first one, who discovered that mistake. Congrats 👍
Just fractured my thumb. Fortunately was able to follow the chords and this has kept me playing. Here is the fret diagram as best I could make it drive.google.com/drive/folders/10sgVHFOHdsIkWrDFPF1-GnPWb_pDmPzQ?usp=sharing
Hi Sandra, so nice to hear you play. I believe we are both Band in a Box Beta testers so I have seen your name and your posts. Mine usually start with RMR. If you get a minute check out my website with a link to my 40+ RU-vid videos. Thanks. www.bobroetker.com
