What a band ! This is from Joe's golden era. Tony Saunder's bass solo is just ridiculous - he's dressed liked some friendly vicar and then just completely tears it up - love it !
Heard this on my XM radio in the truck today and was fearful I wouldn't remember it. SOUNDED GOOD! Glad I found it here! Great cruisin' music. As a good friend said at a Blues concert one time ( quite under the influence... ) " I LOVE THIS SHIT!"
Ha. 11 years later I heard this on the regular radio on a Sunday program that plays blues and soul for a few hours. The good news is, I had Shazam app on my phone and immediately looked it up. What a sweet song.
Oh yeah, and I meant to also say that my buddy and I were loaded and grooving to a killer blues band, and he exclaimed, "The Blues IS LIFE!" Always stuck w/me so I wrote lyrics to a song called Blues is Life.
Would you believe I saw JLW at JJ's in San Jose and although he was great, he didn't play this, one of my favorite tunes by him.... And I asked if he would play it...
