This link takes you to a hack website that won't give you the driver, but will direct you to another website that askes you to sign up for access. Lame
@@paulferbandoz4514 in case you haven't solved this, I saw someone else struggling with the same problem. It turned out that by going into audio settings and turning off telephony settings it fixed the sound issue.
Everyone should note if you change usb ports maybe you have to uninstall and reinstall the driver :D My PC did not see the bluetooth app anymore after changing ports.
Te amo, Nose que decis en todo el video porque no se hablar ingles pero te re amo amigo, me solucionaste este problema y otro mas de rebote mil gracias te amo
i installed the driver and I compared it with the windows 10 bluetooth driver, and found out that the windows driver is better because when I use the CSR driver the audio is stuttered, high pitch noise from audio and when I used windows driver the voice is clear and the bass is great too.
@@iCodeZilla Oh you mean the bluetooth usb dongle right? Yeah, i bought that one since my pc does not have bluetooth, and tried both drivers while at it.
Try the following. I had the same issue. However each time I update my computer with a new insider update I have to repeat these steps. In the search type" Device manager" and open it. Click on the small arrow next to either "Bluetooth" or "Universal Serial Bus controllers" Right click on "CSR" and select Update Driver Select" Browse my computer for driver update" Select on bottom "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my Computer" Select "Generic bluetooth Driver" This will fix it and you will be able to use your Bluetooth now with no other problems.
We are not sure about it. Also we don't see any updates in drivers. But there is another module named as: CSR 5.0 blueotooth module. May be that provides better quality of audio. But I haven't used 5.0 version. I know that 4.0 is really bad and flop thing.
This didn't work. I downloaded the csr file and did as you said but I don't have the bluetooth symbol to click on. Its there in my device manager under bluetooth radios but when I click on it it just says its working properly even though I can't connect my headphones or anything.
Great video! I followed you all the way but after finishing the installation of the driver, nothing happened. Adapter is plugged in. It still remains as an unrecognised device.
So I managed to get it working. I had forgot to disable my laptop's bluetooth in device manager (even though it doesn't have the built in hardware). There were more steps though. I found I had to add CSR bluetooth as an icon in the desktop icon tray and then restart my laptop. Then I had to right click on the icon>show bluetooth settings>[turn on bluetooth device in pairing mode]left click on found device after searching>right click on device>open services>left click on bluetooth device>right click on device>connect. I'm having a problem permanently keeping the CSR bluetooth icon in the tray for some reason. I unplugged the bluetooth adapter from usb post and tried to reconnect. I thought it would almost be as easy as plug and play but not so. Had to restart laptop.
hey , m using csr blutooth device and tenda wifa adaptor at same machine(HP z400)... but when i insert my blutooth adaptor my wifi adaptor stops working.. please can you tell me the solution ?
My computer don't configure turn on and turn off at Bluetooth Mode on setting but and task bar it open but dont connect (detect device's but don't connect)
Hello, I have problems in the device-manager step there is my CSR-Stick called unknown device. i´ve installed the programm and it is still not working and unknown. can someone help me out. Ty
It worked! It can now read my bluetooth dongle. But I encountered another problem, audio quality. There is now a audio delay and background noises. Help!
I had the same problem with my module and many of the users here are complaining about this problem. You may read comments. I didn't find solution to this issue and returned the product.
@@iCodeZilla I fixed it just now. It appears to be a windows update problem. My bluetooth dongle problem only occured not long after I updated to Win10 Pro 20h2 (My first problem was Nvidia Driver, along the way fixing this, I updated some of the other drivers as well but this BT problem popped out). So I downgraded to Win10 Pro ver 2004. The quality went back to normal. Edit: I forgot to mention, I did reset the pc first (like factory reset). I forgot to check if the BT Dongle would work then, I just went straight ahead and changed the windows version. So I'm not completely sure if the compatibility of BT driver and windows version were the problem.
For everyone's knowledge: There is no need to install the driver from CD in windows 10 as it will automatically detect it and install necessary drivers. But there are some problems with this adapter like, -it gets disconnected randomly but sometimes it just works perfectly. -also the mic of my headphone isn't working with this adapter in my PC(working perfectly with my phone, so the adapter is to be blamed) So I would suggest to avoid this CSR one and go for TP Link Bt adapter as it checks all the boxes9no personal experience but my friend has it)
I found these connectivity issues as well. I found this module useless. specially for headphones. I suggest not to buy CSR, but my video is not promoting to buy this product at all, I'm just providing guide to install drivers.
@@memeforever3064 Bro I don't have tp link bt adapter personally. My friend has it. I also have this csr one as when I was buying tp link was out of stock. www.amazon.in/dp/B07NQ5YGDW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_dlC_lB.MFbWQ5PYT9
Please turn your headphones into pairing mode!. After that right click on the Bluetooth icon in Notification area and click Add Bluetooth Device, upon clicking you must be able to search your headphone and pair them. I hope this would help you.
We did everything exactly as you did it, but when it searches for bluetooth devices it cannot find any, this includes a good working bluetooth keyboard and a JBL bluetooth headphones. Tried many times but iit just cant find any devices to conect to. Any ideas???
@@iCodeZilla we have turned off bluetooth on phones etc so the keyboard or headphones have nothing else to connect to apart from the CSR bluetooth,, but the CSR bluetooth just cant find anything
i cant connect my ps4 controller to my pc even after following all of these steps. after the pairing attempt im getting the error " connection failed because an incorrect code was entered". have any suggestions? thanks
@@iCodeZilla thanks for the reply. I believe i know what the problem is. Although not stated i think the dongle i bought is just a transmitter and not a receiver.
@@konuda263 I'm pretty sure your controller is not using Bluetooth technology. You should confirm it. Even though controller module that is attached with your PS4 is very similar to this module, but that is not using Bluetooth technology for connectivity.
@@iCodeZilla i was using this controller on my laptop but now i have deskop and it says please wait and when dualshock4 stop pairing bluetooth just decline
Your concerns are not wrong. But thats also true that this doesn't mean that other 400MB is all virus. You can find some other links. May be you found some similar drivers.
The drivers are normal size... the reason the download is so big is that it is everything that came on a CD with the device. It has multiple languages, files for both 32 and 64 bit PC's, and an interface to interact with the device outside of the usual Settings page. Seems to work fine... We'll see how it goes.
I just installed a TP-Link 4.0 Bluetooth dongle which required to download almost 500Mb of driver code. Turns out this replaces the whole MS Bluetooth stack. It's a much bigger pain than the cheapo dongle (also CSR 4.0) I have on another computer. That works fine and is clear as a bell. Some newer 5.1 dongles are actually lower quality and stutter.
In simple, if you are able to connect your gamepad with your smartphone bluetooth. Then of course you can connect this csr module to your gamepad. Let me know if you know further clarification on this. Thanks.
i have a question... i install the app to connect a mini audio system of samsung (mini audio system j730). but it doesnt work, i can't use the audio pc on the mini audio system, i dont know what to do, anybody can help me with this issue?
I have checked the pinned comment. And the attached link is still working. May be you are click on some other link? Please try only pinned comment link. Thank you
@@iCodeZilla thank you for the reply I did not notice the link though in the comment section but when I tried installing the driver it did connect but the sound quality was so bad. My freebuds 3 sounded like a cheap headset. :(
@@paulferbandoz4514 I have faced the same issue. Also some of viewers were facing the same problem. You can read the comments. May be you can get some idea about fix
Hi and thank you. I was having trouble with my laptop Bluetooth intermittently losing connection with my Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse. I installed the CSR and went to add the device. It found the Mouse but the connection failed because "an incorrect code was entered." This is clearly an error since a Bluetooth mouse does not have a code, and has no place to enter a code. The CSR did not ask for a code - it just delivered the big X and the error message. Your thoughts?
Same happened to me. I was also having choppy results with my normal Bluetooth because I was using this mouse and a BT speaker at the same time. Turns out, I was able to put the speaker on this dongle, and the mouse works fine now, on the normal BT from the laptop! Two Bluetooth radios seemingly working together... Still new, gonna test it and see...
I think there must be something that this module is not supporting connectivity to your controller. I had few guys commenting the same issue as you are having.
@@samuelarchietandyrerung198 as I said, the only issue I had was that the DualShock keep connecting to other devices with bluetooth available before the csr can detect it. After making sure that there was no other devices around with Bluetooth on, I also had to wait quite a long time (about 1 or 2 mins) for it to connect.
@@iCodeZilla oh thnx, So i start up there pairing and my pc finds it but can't connect to them and its says Stereo connection failed Handsfree connection unavailable And sometimes for a some second they do connect but no audio and then immediately get disconnected, It displays the same error after disconnecting.
Hi Richa Kumari, I hope you are doing great. Sorry to inform you that it won't work until you install the drivers. It will only display bluetooth icon in your notification tray once you have installed drivers. Thank you
Sure, I never said that I'm delivering a lecture. Apki to ye language nai ha but phr b itni jalti kyn ha? I never found these type of comments from any English viewer. I received comments about sound quality but never like this.
Bahut ghatiya quality ka adapter hai a bar bar disconnect hota hai do teen minute me bar bar usb me plug kar kar k mera pc ka usb port bhi kharab kar diya isne ajab chalu karta hu to pc ke ander se plastic jalne ki badbu aati hai pc bhi hang hone lagta hai.
Please click "Scan for Hardware changes" in Device Manager, also try to plug it on some other computer. At least it must be detected, otherwise there might be issue with your module.
