To you guys below saying Aiwa has been around for years...... not THIS Aiwa. Brand new company started in 2015 by a group in good old USA, Chicago to be exact. The Exos-9 was their first product. They just bought the rights to the name "Aiwa". No affiliation to the old Japanese Aiwa who made some of the better boom boxes back in the day. Today's Aiwa products are made in China with the USA Chicago team's engineering. I pre-ordered the original Exos-9 back in 2015 and it is still kicking butt to this day with the original battery. Great piece of hardware.
@@breakfast-burrito I don't have much opportunity to crank mine up loud because I mainly use it at a community pool with other people always around. But every once in a while I'll crank it up at home just to be amazed by the thing.....awesome sound.
Great review, thanks for that. Can you please explain how to connect two Aiwa's wirelessly in stereo mode? I have a friend that bought two and she's having a hard time connecting them together and I can't find anything online. Thanks in advance.

Wanna Buy It ... not to sound cliché, when I was younger they were the shit! I was a teenager in the 80s lol. Aiwa made the greatest car stereos possible. Plus mini boom boxes too!
not to sound cliche, that made me laugh hahaha. Nothing wrong with that you are dropping some knowledge for me right now. They need to come out with more portable speakers everyone loved their Exos-9 a few years ago. They have the sound that can compete at every price point and they should because they have quality. Because right now when you look at their site there’s not many options to choose from and not in stores at all any more. Like you said they were the shit and they need to make a big comeback and take over again like keanu reeves did 😂

But when the average person thinks about speakers and audio, they think about JBL, Bose, and Sony...etc. I think they are about to get on that level for the average person to know their name. I couldn’t think of anything else to phrase that than up and coming hmm. You got any ideas?
@@WannaBuyIt Call them resurrected, old school, or forgotten. They were very popular back in the 70-90. I remember, as a child, seeing their stuff in stores next to Panasonic, Sony, and other brands in the late 80s. Still have one of those 5.1 stereo systems resting in the guest room.
Oh heck yea I like that resurrected. The comeback. Really you do that’s awesome they need start making way more products their sound is so good. Their sound is on par with all these top brands now. Need some portable speakers at different price ranges like jbl and all them. Because I feel they will out-class them
