YEAH!! I just received my $2 Bluetooth remote after 3 mos due to COVID. Unfortunately, they forgot to include the instructions. Through your video, I was able to sync the remote and take test pictures of my loving kitty-cat Max on my Android Samsung Galaxy S20. It's noting like some cheap FUN to brighten one's day!! The technology is improving so fast we can't catch up sometimes :) BTW it works best if you connect your phone to a tv so that you can see how you look before you take the picture.
Hi! have an LG v30 and there is no "volume button" in the camera settings. I recently update to PIE and now the shutter only goes to nova settings when I long press it, but will not click on the camera icons like before.
Hi. I have just purchased bower multipod. It comes with the bluetooth remote shutter control. After pairing i am pressing the shutter but its not clicking images . I even tried your advice but still not working. Pairs successfully but then it doesnt work. Please guide?
How long did it last? I was thinking of getting this one with a lifetime warranty. It's more expensive but lifetime warranty and has a nice design. Problem is it doesn't have many buttons or functions. I want one I can scroll thru an e book and those u can't. I read in the cheapo remote comments they stop working shortly or some buttons don't work. Also that all the El Cheapo remotes seem to be made from the same factory.
Even I have one of these. It worked at first at my Huawei phone and now it doesn't work anymore. I've been trying to connect it threw bluetooth to input device and that is the thing that doesn't work. It is the input device needed to connect at bluetooth?
I got one of these and the setup is super easy, just pair it. Here is one issue I had, I paired it with my Xperia X and it made the camera zoom in. I am guessing the internal key values are different on some Sony (and maybe other) devices. I paired it with my Umidigi A9 Pro and it worked correctly. I am guessing there is something special about the Sony camera app that is keeping it from working right. Is there an app I can use on my Xperia X to fix the issue (or a camera app I can install that works like the apps found on other devices)? BTW, my remote needed a 2032 button cell. There is a good chance yours will too. A good prank would be to pair this to a phone and when someone takes a photo snap the shutter for them hehehe

Mine didn't work at first, thought I spent $25.00 down the drain, at least I had the tripod and can use the self timer on the smartphone. Samsung Galaxy A50, but I continued to persist, and now it's working & it's pretty neat, Thank you for the instructional video!!!
What magic did he do in the video? Mine doesn't show up in the Bluetooth search and no software or any instructions on the Morse Code to wake it up. I tried double click, long click and click. Nothing dead remote and silent 1920s video. Are we mimes?
The remote worked with my iPhone 12 when I first bought this 7 months ago. Stored it away and trying to use it now, but remote doesn't take the picture, even though it does pair with the iPhone.

It will serve you well. It's good even for professional use. A friend of mine sells clothes online and she uses this wireless remote control to take pictures of herself wearing the clothes, this way she saves on photographer.
@@reviewthecheapest well I bought this 2 years ago & only used it for the first time the other day in London outside St Paul's Cathedral, it wouldnt work! Thought I was using it wrong and/or the battery was not working so got a new battery and it still does not work. I have a Samsung S3 4.4 android, it does not say in the marketing material (on Amazon, with the selfie stick, where I bought it) that it only works on certain operating systems, it states Android, suggesting it works on ALL androids but it obviously doesnt. No point in me asking for a refund as I purchased it 2 years ago but never used it. It works fine on my friend's Apple phone but that is useless to me!!

Okay, so I have this remote and it works on Snapchat and the camera app just fine, BUT.. When I want to play music while I’m taking pictures it won’t work and will try to act like a volume up button no matter what button I press. I cannot seem to find a solution to this anywhere, is there a way (or any iPhone settings option) that will allow me to take selfies with the remote while listening to music on the phone to where the buttons aren’t adjusting the volume ? Anyone have this trouble ? I even tried using a Bluetooth speaker and the remote still just tries to act as a volume adjuster :(
Hi, the light should turn on only in the beginning when you turn it on and pair it with your phone. Make sure you pair it with your phone. Some phones require additional settings in order to be able to pair with external devices. If the device still doesn't work, try with a different battery.
Bro,it is not it won't work in old phones all.You open your camera,go to settings on top,and press the volume button,after that choose shutter and try to connect this remote to your bluetooth.After that try and see.Ofcourse can.
I can't pair it to my phone because it isn't even shown in the Bluetooth section (although the blue light works on the remote) .Tried it with both iPhone 12 and Android, same problem :( Any solution?
