Thanks for posting such a great review. Most reviewers were just saying - look, it has an RV plug and moving on. I agree with you that this is the future and opens up many new possibilities for off grid power for those of us that don't want to tackle installing a far more complex system. It is also easy to bring in the house for any short term power outages as well. I look forward to any future videos you make on this unit.

Thank you for your feedback! I completely agree with you that the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series is a game-changer for off-grid power. Its massive capacity, fast recharging, and versatile sockets make it a great option for outdoor enthusiasts like us. Plus, the waterproof technology and uninterrupted power supply feature are huge bonuses. I'll definitely consider making a video review of this unit soon. Thanks again for your support!

I agree. As a single solo van lifer (well, I have my van ready. Just trying to understand the how to make my own system smh) I saw BLUETTI never heard of it and never camped before (I know don’t say it, yes I want to be able to go off grid if needed) thank you for explaining the Bluettit better than all the 1,000’s of hours the others tried to beat into my head. I will watch this few a times in my van and pray I can maneuver the screen menu on it the way you do. Plus, I’ve learned a lot of the jargon had to learn what “WAH” or “Awg” was 😅had to google half way thru your video. Used Amazon copy paste links from your post into my Amazon n wala found aviation and xt60 wires etc. Wheeeww lord help this 54 yr young woman’s nerves. Learning solar. Luckily 🎉for you, BLUETTI Ac200max and RU-vid!!! Ty sir 🎉😂❤

I live down by Richfield don't come up that way much, the code worked for $41.97 off. If I come up that way I will get in touch, would like to see how you have it all hooked up. Do you have to unhook any converters and inverters as the bluetti has them built in ? also is there built in a controller for the solar, I have some solar panels with a controller and some without, which would work best? Thanks
@diySolarPowerFunWithRay
@diySolarPowerFunWithRay 11 месяцев назад
It has the solar charge controller build in. It also has the inverter built in. You may have to get a soft start on your Air conditioner if it can't start it. The more solar you have the better.

You need to look at the new 200L. It's better than the Max!
@diySolarPowerFunWithRay

I also like the 200l but it doesn't have a 30 amp 12 volt Outlet for 12v rv appliances. They are supposed to be making a little converter plug you can add to get down to you 12 volts but I haven't seen that yet. It's been a while so I'm not sure the status of that

How did you wire in your shore power plug?

My Shore power plug just simply charges the battery. And I run everything else off my inverter

You've got me thinking about using the 200max or the 200L to completely replace my 5th wheel lead acid batteries.....BUT.....Can they start my on-board 5500w Onan generator?.....your thoughts plz.
@diySolarPowerFunWithRay
@diySolarPowerFunWithRay Месяц назад
Put a clamp meter on the generator terminal and then try and start the generator. Your meter should should have a setting to be able to measure the peak amp draw. I bet it could start it

@lee3202 awesome. I just uploaded another video where I connected it to my RV and was able to charge from the alternator and from solar. Let me know if you have any problems with the discount code working.

I saw that video but could not see where you hooked the wires from the bluetti to the rv. I have a winnebago travato and want to use it in place of the batteries which are underneath the van and hard to get to. I see you live in Utah, so do I, don't know how far away you are, if you were close enough I would come look at your set up.

@lee3202 sure, swing on by. I live in lehi. Send me an email and we can exchange our contact info. My email is in the description. Instead of having the RV Cables connect to your Lead acid battery's pos and Neg. they will now connect to the Bluetti's Pos and Neg. I show more details in the video 48 volt RV conversion video.

Could I also charge this back up with my Predator 3500 inverter?
@diySolarPowerFunWithRay
@diySolarPowerFunWithRay 11 месяцев назад
I imagine so. It charges with grid power. Some generators produce a dirty sine wave which occasionally prevents charging some systems. probably best to call them and verify on that if you want to know for sure.

Great video! Do you think it’s best to run the rv with the 12v plug and the shore plug? Or would it be fine to just use shore plug? I don’t have slide outs. And so would the rv power the fridge through 12v or shore plug if you have them both hooked up?
@diySolarPowerFunWithRay
@diySolarPowerFunWithRay Месяц назад
Rv fridges usually run on gas or 120-volt electricity. They usually don't run on 12-volt DC

Fantastic video (female viewer…power tools interest us too)!Thanks for all your efforts which helped speed my research up greatly. I’m researching the best options for rv and emergency home power. Wondering about recharging the power station while driving to the campsite through the vehicles hitch power rather than attaching to the vehicles battery directly. I’m also a fellow Utahn’. Small world…

Awesome! Glad to see some ladies on here! It may depend on the wiring of your truck. My truck has a pin on the electrical receiver hitch that I could tie into. I think mine only has power when my engine is running so it won't drain my battery down. For me I could use that 12 volt wire on receiver and wire it into the 12 volt charging port on the power station.

I think if you want to run your RV you should not plug the converter in. It will use a lot more power going through the converter. I would take the converter offline and or get a generator interphase like Reliance makes, or just plug the converter in and use it. You are going to use power while the Bluetti inverter is on and is sitting idle. You should just build a component system utilizing an inverter. I don't see why you would want the Bluetti to run your RV. I have three Bluetti products and an extra non- Bluetti and I use them occasionally to charge phones and run my compressor portable Alpincool.

I actually had my converter turned off at the breaker box. Maybe I should have explained that but I was going to explain it in the next video.

I like the idea of the bluetti running the Rv because you have everything on one package. Seems like it's the future of Power Systems.

When I hook up the Bluetti to the 12 volts in my trailer and remove the 12volt battery will my brake controller still work? My break controller is connected to my 12volt battery. Also do I need to worry about the AC200Max freezing? I'm in minnesota.
@diySolarPowerFunWithRay
@diySolarPowerFunWithRay 11 месяцев назад
I would take it inside during the winter , although I have Frozen some other lfp batteries and they haven't been affected by freezing temperatures but that could be different if you're trying to use the battery while it is in a frozen state. Regarding your brakes, i'm sure what type of vehicle you have but I have a fifth wheel and when I plug my fifth wheel into my truck the brakes are on a separate circuit then the other 12 volts RV appliances. My are connected to my truck vehicle battery and power is sent to the brakes when I push the brakes inside my truck. I hooked up to my RV in my latest video

My trailer battery also is used to power the emergency breakaway system for the trailer brakes. I’ll maybe add one of the small breakaway batteries. Love the info you are providing. Thanks
@diySolarPowerFunWithRay
@diySolarPowerFunWithRay 9 месяцев назад
My trail battery also is used to power the emergency brake-away system. When I pull the brake-ways switch it powers the breaks with 12v and around 13 amps. For me the Bluetti would handle that fine. I think there's the misconception that the emergency brakes use more power because often those brake-ways wires melt... I believe that's the result of break wires being run through the axil of the trailers and often there's short circuits created... and for some reason the trailer manufactures don't put a fuse on that break wire. I'm not sure why.

Thanks Ray for sharing. Like 65. Power tools!! I have this Bluetti. This is how I have been powering my RV, but with 2048Wh, it doesn't last that long. I have bought the same battery as you and am considering the Growatt or Victron Multiplus II. I saw your video regarding the 2400w output but I like the PowerAssist function. Do you know of another AllInOne with PowerAssist?
@diySolarPowerFunWithRay
@diySolarPowerFunWithRay 10 месяцев назад
I don't need any power assist because I have gone with a growatt. The growatt can handle all my power needs I have. Now, if you order a smaller weaker unit, like the victron you will need something like power assist to give you more power. I hope that makes sense.
@diySolarPowerFunWithRay
@diySolarPowerFunWithRay 10 месяцев назад
A work-around for the power assist would be to buy a separate battery charger. I've never needed that though. I'll be testing the B300 bluetti battery in another review video this week. Buying an extra battery might be a good option. I'll see how the testing goes. I haven't looked at it yet.. it just came in the mail.

@@diySolarPowerFunWithRay I am confusing you I think. I have the Bluetti 200P setup now. I can't expand the battery as this option isn't avaiable for the 200P. The MAX can be expanded. I am going to go to the ?Growatt? inverter as I want more battery and 1600w of solar (to start). I also purchased the EG4 48V 100A that you have. My 5th wheel is 50A. You might have a soft start AC as my Bluetti 200P , 2200w, doesn't start my AC.
@diySolarPowerFunWithRay
@diySolarPowerFunWithRay 10 месяцев назад
Nice. Yeah I think I do. But your growatt might start your AC still. I need to try a few other rvs without a soft start. I believe you'll need 2 growatts...one for each hot leg on your 50 amp plug. You'll want the 48p model that I show in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-p_SH5buI8jY.html

@@diySolarPowerFunWithRay yes we are billed for electric. I’m just starting out with the Bluetti ac200 max with 350 watts solar. I think that I will have to add the battery and another solar panel.

@@diySolarPowerFunWithRay battery capacity on ac200max is inadequate for my needs. The b230 battery doubles the capacity. But I use a small electric heater in the bedroom. A big draw coupled with the refrigerator and water heater. Sometimes run out of juice during the night. I’m in SoCal so we get good sun Often I will remove the cable from the 30amp outlet and plug it into the pedestal.
