I know its a rough spot but ive learned when theres a busted straight or flush draw and they jam on the river im calling 90% if ihabe a strong hand ....and its been working alot for me
I don't see how you could structure a bluff better then this. His sizing can't be better; Any bigger OTT, makes the pot inflated on the river, and easier to call. Literally rock bottom of his range, and blocks A3/A4ss. I wonder how balanced Brewers preflop size is, if he 3b all his hands 6x here. Addamo and Brewer always sparks great deep questions.
To answer the question: They have so deep stacks that the SB has naturally only very little interest to be involved into any pots. Means: He is obviously heavily skewed towards Value, which the bet size reflects.
@@fyrsstatusrecords5754 I was thinking any ace high hand like any nut flush draw or Ax offsuit with the ace of spades. Maybe he checks back turn or calls flop with those hands sometimes though to be fair. I think a lot of bluffs that get to the river contain an ace. He also could obviously just have a ten (T9, JT, QT, KT, AT). Maybe QQ is supposed to call if you put this in a solver, but good luck finding that call for your tournament life.
@@nickmullen402 ok u know theres a difference between getting there and having it on the flop right nick? So all these t hands were flopped and didnt "get there. Now does he raises tens on the flop often enough? Not so sure the turn is an 8 he bets relatively small . Does this bet size scream nutted hand? Again not so often .river is an ace. Now we come to these hands that got there Axs and he puts him all in. The reality is yes they are too deep but this is a kinda weak random line from addamo and if u are up against addamo holding qq there more often than not i believe you are better of calling him down. And if he has well thats unlucky but again this is not a powerfull line from him at all. Ive seen him play like 100.000 x better than that only reason to fold is that its a lot of bbs other than that quite an easy call
I have no problem about the river fold, but how can you not shove turn having pot size stack left assuming maniac is bluffing and drawing (he did assume it by calling)?
Why would you want to end your opponent’s bluff on the turn by jamming and giving him insufficient odds to chase his flush? Let him spew it off on a brick river. (Unfortunately the A river scared Brewer in this case).
This is so readable bluff: if Addamo has Ten -- he would defends from flush, but he bets too small on turn, if he has Ace he must be afraid of Ten in Brewer's hand and if he has AT he must be afraid get nothing after river bet and shouldn't go all in!
Not sure tbh, but to my knowledge, Chris is a newcomer to Triton? I remember not long ago, he was chatting with Eric on LATB about the "Triton Guys" and how they could afford such high buy-ins. I am guessing this is an uncomfortable spot for Chris.
Your thinking is the reason why a guy like Adamo will print a ton versus you. Never fold no matter what because you know someone can bluf is just a wrong strategy and why pros crush fish at poker. This spot is very tough for Brewer.

Consider addamo's range. cant fold QQs. if he's got it (10) then he's got it. folding was fine too b/c Chris didnt want to get knocked out if addamo indeed had 10 or ace. that said, Chris failed in that "In Order to Live You Have to Be Willing to Die!" scared money dont make money!!
Value hands he’s repping- AsXs, all the 45 56 and 57 suited hands Bluffs he could have- any other missed spades hand, 5X that was turned into a bluff, 6c7c Tough spot. I think I’m folding.
That As on the river doesnt change so much.. just As of spafes combos impact there,, addamos on his 3bet on flop is saying he has a 10x or a full house.. no As high does that.. just As of spades
I hope i get to play heads up with adamo. I am a psycho regarding bluffers. I do best on my book to understand the textures and i always make hera calls even in final. I domt care if i lose. Such is my mentality😂. U can say a mad dog who will bust the bluffers or be busted. Kill or be killed. No in between options like fold.😂. Maaaaaad
