Thank you!!! I looked this up because Slack was VERY blurry but once I did this, I didn't realize how blurry everything else was! It's like I have a completely different monitor now. Thanks a bunch
Quick question pls: I have a 64-bit windows, for the new file I'm creating should I use: - DWORD 32-bit Value, or - QWORD 64-bit Valu?!! Thank you so much
@@akaBIGDAVE Use custom scaling, make sure the adjust blurrines option is on, use 125% custom scaling as recommended for normal. It will fix the problem.
My monitor's native resolution is 1366x768 but it shows 1920x1080. When I changed it to 1920x1080, it became blurry and after changing it to 1366x768 and its no auto adjusting itself. Please help someone. I'm in serious trouble.
For those who haven't found the "win8" thing. Just add the log anyways. And after restarting, you can go back to normal zoom. It worked for me. Thabk you so much man
I just want to know what was the problem ? Is this because of low pixel of fonts as Ramil mentioned it ! Well , my laptop is brand new, HP probook 450 g7 full HD , with win10 upgraded from home to pro 64 bit , why I suppose to change this setting from regedit ?
Lenovo Legion Y540? I am having the same problem. Scaled the pc to 150 % otherwise the whole desktop fonts look so tiny. After making it 150% somehow works but looks a bit bigger. Some software like vinci resolve looks tiny. Should i first revert back to 125% scale then do the trick in the video or do it with 150% scale? Please reply

So i did this on my 4k tv and it made everything really small, but it does look much better. my Win8dpiscaling was set to 0, what does setting it to 1 do? And what does the log pixels 78 mean? can these be tweaked?
I have one screen 1920x1080 and the second one is 4k, 24" and 27" respectively, if I do it like your method shows the full hd monitor becomes larger (125%) for no reason, the 4k scales by 125 as well, if I change the setting to 175, now also full hd scales to 175%, although fonts are clear, the scaling on the full hd is too much. Is there a way to make windows properties tab (when you click right click properties) look crisp like the other of windows interface does? It is crisp only for the monitor that is set as default, the other one is blurry if not used your method.
Thank you again. I came back to your video because I had to increase the size letter on another pc but it turned blurry. Now everything looks great thanks to you.
Can you please provide more details when making a video like this, just show a picture with the issue. I have a "blurry text problem", but I'm not sure it's the same one. My problem is very inconsistent. I have just bought a Lenovo Legion Laptop and sometimes in different apps or in context menus the text is randomly screwed up, just illegible. My drivers are up to date and this issue is hard to reproduce, it's very inconsistent and random. This issue is not limited to text but usually text-related
Thank you so much for the video. I was so dizzy since some of words on my laptop screen look so blurry. I followed your tips and everything become so clear now. Thank you so much for your help 😍
@MDTechVideos I did this. The display on my laptop is fine now, but I also use a monitor display with the laptop and everything there has become super big. How do I make it so these changes only take effect on the laptop display and not the monitor display I have connected with the laptop?
when i restarted my pc i went back to the registry to see if everything was set right an then when i went back to the win8piscaling the value was set back to 0 can someone tell me why?
I need to now what is the reason why when i print using my laptop the photo becomes blurry while when using another laptop , the photos are perfect..I wante to point that I print using high quality image
Hi, can you tell me how can i delete this logpixels registry and turn the windowsdpiscaling to 0 again ? Because i was trying to delete it but it always comes back after i restart my computer
thank you, for some reason windows was recommending 1360x768 even though my native resolution is 1080p, and 1080p everything looked very small and not scaled proper. earned a sub

Hi! Great content. My twinmotion and Lumuon is always blurry and a few more softwares. I tried the solution, it worked, the softwares were sharp as they should. But it made the whole OS have smaller icons, menus and status bar. I’m confused. I had to undo the procedure.
Thanks so much! This worked perfectly. Just bought a new laptop (Lenovo IdeaPad 5) and I use the old program MS Money. It was a blurry mess until I made this change.
I can't thank enough you! Omg! you solved my problem . I brought a new laptop 2 weeks ago and wondering exactly what would be problem? Tried most of the videos /updated windows same problem and then saw your video and tried and bingo😍. It worked. Thanks 🙏
Please make a tutorial for applying that font on only 1 monitor. I did this on my laptop screen and it applied weird font on an external monitor that I plugged in.
Thank you so much for this video! I have been fighting the blurry test since picking up 27inch curved Samsung monitors last week...Now after that regedit I am good :)
It does work. But after following the video, my display scaling is set to 125%. I don't want that, and when I changed it to 100%, the blur issue started again.
I was trying to solve this problem for a week now and it totally worked! Thank you so much (worked on CATIA V5 on windows 10 if you have the same problem)
I have issue with my Dell laptop its 16 inch screen, however the native resolution is set at 1368 x 768 pixel's, above this resolution i can't see options to enhance my laptop.. any leads, its windows 10
I tried this and it didn't work, at all; everything continues getting as blurry as ever, from the desktop to anytime I scroll down any web page, both font and images become blurry, in order to correct that I have to run the cursor over them as if I were selecting them. Then after a while I have to do it again. But it was good advice: it helps me to go on getting a hang of how this works so I can eventually correct it (maybe it's a hardware problem Idk).
I wanna ask you how to determine the value that you've set for LogPixels because it is not correct for every pc i sow another video that set for 128 so that's my question !
Defintiely made the image more sharp like it used to be but also made icons and text huge, and still wasn't crisp and clear as before. Really upset because I was so happy about how great my new PC and monitor looked
You are a life saver. Trank you a lot, it worked for me. I was having this issue on some programs but others were working fine, now all my programs have nice resolution.
@@MDTechVideos every thing looks and works perfect at native resolution w/c means 1080p @ 60Hz, crisp and clear, but once I selected 120hz,144hz or 165hz w/c my monitor is really designed for makes desktop and games text looks blurred almost unreadable, it only starts above 60hz when i change refreshrate, but i bought this gaming monitor for that particular thing, high refreshrate, thats the only problem i have, text becomes blurry even if i change to clear text, doesnt do anything still blurry, but while in game at 144-165hz it runs super smooth as fuck only problem is the texts not the rendering, and when i press screen shot it looks perfect, but on my monitor by looking at it texts are blurry. I got all the latest drivers, even my video card recognizes monitor name, but VG258Qr Asus dont have drivers for it that i think it should with that amount of price plus gaming ranked monitor... hope u understand my explanation on whats going on, tried every fix but nothing worked :'(
