imagine spending $4k on a pc and then a few months later the screen starts flickering near the taskbar :( Overall, whilst watching this, I opened geforce experience and it started doing updates automatically and there is no flickering anymore :) thanks man :0

Man, you're a Life saver. I have been struggling for over an hour. But as soon as you said "faulty cable connections", I went to the back of the pc and pressed on the cables slightly. After that, I restarted the pc for 20th time and the flickering was gone. I wanted to use this comment to thank you for your help. I was about to bring it to the shop :)

I Only had this on my second monitor, and as I don’t use it to play games, I lowered the refresh rate to 120 from 144, seems to fix it, but still don’t know the problem to the original problem, as it’s not the cable or display port

My monitor using Vga on the monitor its like something moving but when i moving the vga cable that something on the screen also had little moving and sometimes when the cpu if of the monitor turn on & off by himself so may i know the problem?

i had to download amd software and it downloaded heaps of new drivers etc on my computer and now ever since that it starts flickering only on desktop and in games i play, please can anyone help me?

I have the flickering problem on my laptop, the problem is i cant press anything when the screen is flickering but the task manager doesn't flicker. however when i type anything in the file run the task manager closes and open again

My screen only flickers on one particular drawing when using Visio. Was fine to start with but now can't finish the drawing.. If I open a different drawing, it's fine..Any ideas?

Ok so I just installed new ram then when I powered on my screen flickers. I took the new ram out then it stopped flickering. Now it’s just loading everything really slow. It never did before it was a lot faster. Any tips??? I’m no pc expert but I’m learning. I can barley do anything Bc of how slow the things load

I have the following problem: when I press print screen, every window starts to flash / flicker every second and the CPU fan starts to ramp up. I can't see what might be the cause in the process manager. It stops once I press WIN+printscreen. what could be the cause?? I already uninstalled a bunch of stuff and deactivated processes but still...

my monitor starts to flickering when i open but the flickering stop after after some time then when i open it again the flickering will be back and after some time it will be gone again and repeat what should i do?

My pc is alright before i installed a graphic card,after installing a gt 730 then my display problems,it's flickering somewhere and also drivers are up-to-date and I also replaced the vga cable to new one. I tried everything,like changing windows 10 to 7,but nothing happens,whats the matter.

Do you have any ideas for this problem? A new GPU in a system which works fine with my old GPU - all drivers updated etc - during boot up and in Safe Mode there is snow/noise on screen and horizontal flashing bands of noise which stops at log in screen? Thanks for the video btw.

I was playing a game my system crashed and it restarted itself then froze on log in then I started it up again and went into bios and the screen was flickering and the CPU was 70c was it just to hot or something?

Man, really, thank you, I bought a chinese RX 580, I was having some trouble with it but it was ok, and then the screen was flickering with like weird pixels of different colors, basically glitching a lot, and because the GPU isn't the best quality I thought it was a fabric problem, 2 hours digging for the solution, found this, tried the roll back drivers and so far its working perfectly

While i was using my laptop it went to blue screen with error irql not less or equal and screen started flickering multiple clolour black and white and i closed the laptop and now it wont start it blinks orange and white light on charging port?

Hello... Good day... I would like to know wither you can help me with a problem of mine... My laptop always blacken and two colored light always appear after a couple of minutes used... I also followed the instructions you mentioned... What should I do???

But mine is different. I use a laptop and it starts flickering before I get into the "Put your password" screen. I tried resetting and deleted everything yet the problem still persist.

So when nothing is plugged in on mine it displays like the nothing connected thing fine but when I plug in my laptop it doesn’t look good

So my issue is odd, my screen flickers on the desktop but not when I am running a RU-vid video or playing a videogame (EXCEPT on load screens). So far I have: 1. Deleted and reinstalled my display drivers 2. Manually updated my graphics card drivers 3. Taken out my battery and "discharged" my laptop to account for any possible static The way the problem manifests sounds like software right? Not sure what other software changes to try...I can't change the refresh rate or anything, it's already set at 144mhz and at the correct resolution

So my screen is fine until I sign in. Whenever I sign in, it just flickers the only thing that shows up is the task bar, I can’t click on anything, and I even tried going to task manager but it didn’t let me.

PLEASE HELP! I am currently experiencing this problem. I have a brand new CPU system, with 16GB RAM kingston fury, Graphics card 4GB, ASUS motherboard, 600 watt power supply and Ryzen 3500X processor. My monitors are around 2 years old. 1 is an LG monitor and I am using a VGA to Display Port converter to connect it to the Graphics Card. The other monitor is Acer and I am using VGA to DVI-D converter to connect it to my CPU graphics card. I want dual screen, so this is why... My computer turns on just fine. I can use my PC with both screens/monitors... However, I have noticed that after a few minutes, both my screens would say "NO SIGNAL, ENTERING POWER SAVING MODE" , the monitors would turn off for around 5 seconds but turns back ON on its own and goes back to my Desktop...closing all the apps/games/windows that I was using before it went OFF. This was worse when I was using HDMI converters... It is better now but it still goes off... probably around 10 to 20 minutes.. it is also worse if I play Games like MIR4. PLEASE HELP ME! :( I am so stressed, my CPU is new....

I noticed that one of my psu cable was interrepting my CPU cooling fan and my CPU was over heating to cause flekering

I looked everywhere on youtube to find a tutrorial to fix my computer screen flashing green lights i cant find anything. The problem is that my computer screen flashes green and black lights on the tv and then it crashes my computer and right before the green screen problem, there is a error that pop that says "dllhost error" i do not know if this is a virus or just a faulty computer error. i tried even running a virus scan and it says there is no viruses. please help

Hope do notice me, on my case' the screen clarity is all good but there's an scratches build up on the screen but the good thing; there's no lcd bleeding but only a deep scratches mark that black' what can i do?

This is helpful. I just lowered the refresh rate of my monitor to 60 Hz and the flickering or glitching is gone. But when I return it to 144 Hz the flickering is still there. Is it just my monitor or the gpu?

THanks mate, looks like mine was refresh rate. What would that mean? Did Windows messed up setting it automatically, (I had higher 75,) Now when on 60 it works. Or is the monitor degrading?

I WAS SCARE AT THE BEGGINING BECAUSE IT TOOK MORE THAN 45 MINUTES ...ALMOST 3 HOURS OR MAYBE MORE ...BUT WHEN I CAME BACK TO CHECK MY MONITOR WAS WORKING PERFECT! my screen flickers like from time to time, i get a black screen for a milisecond, havent found anything yet i think it may be drivers but i am now trying what u told about the refresh rate on the monitor, if its the monitor does it mean its faulty? or how should i fix it for it to run at the refresh rate it should?

Idk if this is related but I can’t use my touch bad. If I unplug my mouse from my laptop the cursor disappears and the touch pad doesn’t work. But if I plug the mouse in I get screen stuttering and blackouts. Pls help
