Hello, I'm new to Blythe and I am looking to start customizing her. I am binge watching all the "Beginner customizing" videos I can find and yours came up along with several others. I can't tell you how glad I am that I found your channel. I have learned so much already. You offer such great advice, especially about not rushing and to not expect perfect results with the first doll. (Very difficult for me with that one. Lol) I am definitely subscribing and I look forward to learning all I can from you. I look forward to watching your future videos. Thank so much for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you so much for finding time to write such an inspiring comment ✨️ It is very important to me ❤️ I am planning on making and sharing many more videos 🎬 Stay tuned! 💋
At some point, we are all beginners 😊 I was very much frustrated by failing multiple times, but with more practice and right materials, it's easier to succeed 🏆 Best of luck 💋
Hi! Most of the Blythe makers use Mr. Super Clear spray that fixes the makeup. You need to apply it after each layer of makeup you made. I am not sure about any substitutes to Mr. Super Clear.
Thanks for the tips. I’m waiting for my material to start! I like very strange details in my dolls, so, doing my own will be amazing! I will follow your recommendations!
Hi lovely! I’m thinking about starting my first custom. May I ask which pan pastel colors you went with? I’m looking at the reds/pinks, but not sure! 💗
Hey, girl! Pan Pastel is pricy, I know, but I ended up with 10 colours: red is a very strong colour which is good. I also bought pearl pink, it's much less pigment, needs more layers. You also will need dark brown for eyebrows. Definitely, you need titanium white. I also added beige, dark magenta is gorgeous. So, you need at least 4 colours I would say: red, pink, dark brown and white.
Thank you for sharing your viewpoint. I do sand the plate but gently so no scratches and no need multiple sanding. The point, for me personally, is just to remove the gloss without scratches and do not complicate.
When I redo makeup, I use the gentle sponge send paper. I showed the type of sponge I use (micro & ultra fine) in a few videos. It comes in red, blue and green colours. I tried using nail polish removal in the past, but it creates stains that spoil the plate. Oh, and btw, I've never tried customising dolls coming without gloss layer (mat face plate).
Hi! Well, it doesn't have a number. I bought it from Amazon, hope u can open this link and see 3M Sanding Sponges - 4 pack (Fine, Superfine, Ultrafine, Microfine) amzn.asia/d/2vu91Fd
