thanks ! the epoxy I used here was glasurit. the undercoat was from soudal this one that you can repaint the white , color I don't know anymore I had it made here locally in a shop on colorcode for the bottom. and then to spray the undercoat standard undercoat gun that you can buy in any shop , to spray the primer epoxy I think primer gun from sata I should look , to spray color gun from devillbiss

Thanks tom! if I do small pieces and can't spray everything immediately for example the welds, I just spray zinc spray over it, a very very small layer, and if I want to finish a certain piece Then I'll sand everything to bare metal, if I know I can spray it the day itself. Good luck 😉

Thanks jay! If I think what you mean, I would say start against the rocker, and front! I also started there because that's where you really can't miss it, that's where it has to fit together nicely.and because on the side of the tunnel if you have to weld or grind out some extra, you can always get rid of it as it is round shape there, and easy to hide the weld Good luck 👍

I do have some welding experience,different types of welding I used to learn in school and I have to say that this is the easiest, just watch some videos of( Mig welding )I think you also get nice explanations for beginners at ( eastwood mig welder ) possibly search there or take a class with someone you know and you'll be out of there in no time,once you know what gas canister,settings and how or what, if you have some patience and know what you're doing and are a little handy you're good to go.

No, the frame rail must remain in place, you have to search from below ( under the car) the spotwelds that are in the frame rail to which your footplate is attached, then you need to drill the spot weldsout , then you will see the holes that you have drilled along the inside, then you put your new footplate along the inside to draw outside, and then you can possibly with your grinding wheel from below along your frame rail left and right through your footplate grinding, and then you can again from the inside the rest cut through first the left side and then the right side , and then the last smal piece out on top of you fraim rail , And there it is the frame rail now you see it still full 😉
