i have on of these in light blue metalized paint and the seats are of red velour ,doesn´t have headrests in the back with the same wheels and air conditioned ,it´s faster than the coupé version, i also have two a older and a more recent one(maybe 74) ,this was a 73 if memory doesn´t fail me, the coupé and this are fantastic to drive but because of the gasoline price i don´t drive them everyday
I have both 3.0 Si & 3.0 CSi and they have same engine & drive train but they seem completely different - the E3 has a more rigid chassis and is better for throwing around corners apparently!
@@mwed i was surprised by the fact that the sedan is faster than the coupé ,normally would be the reverse but somehow that´s what it is , not only my opinion but several people i talked with told me the same, both are excelent cars, but i prefer the coupé 73 model
@@mwed both diferent cars , body and chassi wise, at least that´s what a BMW ex-dealer and colector told me ,only defect the gasoline comsuption , the coupé from 73 was sold to me in 95 in perfect condition ,always kept in a garage for what today is 750€ ,the other i own i said to the seller that i had no money to buy it but looking at my 645i(70´s model)he ofered me it also kept in a garage and put to work on weekends, he told me "my grandsons don´t like it". All this 70´s BMW´s are very well built, , this perfectelly tuned by old BMW mechanic, no vibration coming from the engine in any of them, i had stoped a 2002 Tii but he took the injection system and when assembling it back in the car it started to run perfect, the Bosh high quality wiring having graphite cables to the sparkplugs it made them survive all this years
Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!! (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO & HESCHLAVVO & SCHLABOUBVE laws)....
