BMW 320 F30 F31 door handle replacement

Great video. It really works. I do it by myself. I bought the spare parts online and then I replace both in about 4 hours. My advice: 1. Do it with no rush; 2. Be careful when you are going to take away window commands; 3. Be careful with the handle cover, the first you are gonna to remove; 4. Remember to connect again all the wires. 5. Use a manual screwdriver!

Hola Fernando. Veo verdaderamente loable y valioso el hecho de que hagas vídeos de este tipo para los que no nos atrevemos a "meterle mano" a nuestro vehículo. Así nos animas y empujas a hacerlo. Esta operación que has hecho, en mi concesionario BMW me salía por "600 o 700 euros", me dijeron literalmente. He comprado los recambios en AliExpress por unos 15 euros las dos puertas y en cuanto me lleguen los reemplazo por los míos, con tu vídeo delante, por supuesto. Nada más. Gracias, gracias, gracias... y gracias.

I did the same thing for the passenger front door on an E91, but worked on the door panel disconnected from the cables in order to have more control of the whole process and without any risk of damaging the control cables during the procedure.

Hi and thank you for the video. I bought the replacement handle but I don't have the screw that appear in the video (14m:10s). What kind of screw are they or where I can get it?

Remove the door switch after taking the door panel off as in the video you can see that removing it first broke the front clip that secures the front of the switch down into the panel.

I did this today and it was a fucking nightmare !! In the video which was very helpful by the way he pops everything off so easily I had to Yank with all my strength to remove Alot of stuff especially that Window switch I could not remove that I almost gave up! I ended up popping it from the inside not the outside like in the video it simply wouldn't pop off my freaking plastic tool broke in half in the process. It's finished door handle has been replaced but it was a horrible experience.

Does this procedure apply exactly to an F34? I mean, are there differences between the places where you need to use the drilling machine?

Freakin over engineered. Pissed me off. It was easier when I did my x5 e70. 3 door handles in 10mins. Now this one is a nightmare 😫

My window switch not working after install any idea why not?

Nothing like having a mute try to show you how to do something. Lose the music and talk us through it.

I have a simple remedy for this. I used women Natural Nail Polish to coat the handle. You have to apply at least two coats. It dries within seconds.
