@tite732 every time i unplug the battery it does, but I insert the MAP US disc and it should be fine ( I always keep that in there anyway and use my iPod 5th generation for music and video and remember 5th generation is the only iPod in which you have controls through the D3 Unit

how did u cut the heat vent & how did u seal it afterwards

I just put the ac control in to the glovebox cables are actually long enough and don't have to be extended

does the place you got the extra parts from have a site?

do you loose heat\Ac from this i would like to do this also

Can you please tell me what antenna you use to make AM radio work as good as OEM one? You know that cable that you plug into the back of the headunit .I also have a bmw and a pioneer headunit.thx

ur a/c control unit sucks .. its not flush and i bet when you accelerate hard that piece of wood stuck at the bottom doesn't hold it and the a/c unit fly's backwards hitting your dog in the head in the back , otherwise the actual double din install looks good .. and the bezel that hold the ddin unit is awesome .. thnx a bunch for sharing
