Great video man. That was just detailed enough. I have been considering doing this a long time but thought moving the manual heater controls was more of a pain
Hey that’s pretty slick bro ! I can’t find the 11 button obc unit for my car I believe it’s possibly the least uncommon! I see the 7 button and 18 button always at junk yards but never the 11. And you just answered my question if only converting the displays would i still get to keep my outside temp function or would I need to do more wirring and converting….thanks for clearing that up for me and verifying that the temp will work without much effort 😊
Thank you! I have a 95 M3 and I always wondered how to do this since single din units suck. I never had much confidence but you made it look pretty easy. What model is the radio you have? So far so good?
Kenwood DMX706S it's about $350, there is also the DMX7706S which is about $250+ basically the same receiver with lesser quality components so i read. So far so good, Love it
@@jonreyna Thank you so much! Please keep posting E36 videos! Also, If you happen to be in the Bay Area, CA a few E36 supporters and I will try to get an E36 meet going after all the covid stuff is done would love to see you there if you're nearby.
@chris I'm the absolute same way, I have a 95 M3 (e36) as well and for years I've been sooo hesitant to do much to it. But seeing these types of videos definitely helps me undwestand that you can make things work with persistent effort.
can u show the another video where u change the interior from beige to black ? my interior is beige too and i want to change it, its difficult or easy ? greetings from germany buddy :D
you probably dont give a shit but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all of the new movies on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my gf these days :)
Since i painted the dash black i had the glove box out and the trim below the climate out too and was able to get to the other end of the red flexible connector but i think if u remove the obc then remove the 4 knobs of the climate control to get access to the screw holding the face plate then you can move it around and try to unplug the red flexible connector it will then move freely
Don't get me wrong but I'm almost positive those aren't regular M3 seats...... Look like Vader's to me with base M3 headrests....... Edit: Literally 36 seconds i and i had to restart the whole video
