i just did the charcoal delete and a new air filter KN and i noticed right away a significant difference it picks up really well and it changed the sound a bit awesome
I know this is an old video but I would like to do a comment. I have found many people Replacing the throttlebody tube with the air baffle in it with a silicone tube. I believe the replacement is about 60 bucks. By removing the baffle you’re supposed to get better airflow. When I was doing the charcoal delete I pulled this tube off cut the baffle off with a hacksaw and plug the hole with a rubber stopper that sits flush inside the tube. Literally cost $.26 to do. Just a heads up for people trying to do this save your money
After watching this video this morning, as planned I changed my air filter, cleaned MAF, throttle body, also did this charcoal filter delete... wether it was a combination of all these things that I did.. wow!.. all I can say is the car is much more ALIVE now and the revs compared to before W0W.
I feel like if i did RU-vid videos, they would come out like this. I love the on camera directions given to the 'cameraman'. Lol. "And, thats it. End it." 😂🤣😂
Hello, i have a f30 328i sulev and after inspection they told me i got a crack in my charcoal canister. Just want to know should i replace or not. Thank you
You will get more sound by adding a silicone intake hose in place of the stocker with the noise baffle. That together with a K&N made the intake sound great. I dont think a charcoal delete will add much to intake roar. The Turner muffler/resonator delete will get the exhaust sounding really nice.
I did this mod on my N54 because it wouldn't take a full tank of gas, now putting back the charcoal filter because my garage smells like gasoline😂but I don't understand how this would increase performance/throttle response
The charcoal filter in the gas tank is not related to the intake charcoal filter. N54 doesn’t have a charcoal filter in the intake if I remember correctly.
@@BMWE90HQ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uI5d6C9DyW8.html when I switched tires the same thing happened, all I had to do was that video above
@@BMWE90HQ btw, I have a bmw 323i 2011, could not find any performance air filters so I got one meant for a 328 instead cause the air box looks the same size.. do you think it will fit okay?
Steering is a bit more precise I think (possibly placebo effect) but the car has so much more grip and can really handle better and I didn’t have to change any suspension components but now I have upgraded my suspension to ST X coilovers and they really allow you to make full use of the extra grip.
You can reset it the tyre pressure sensor after you pump the tyres up or change them by finding it in the ‘check control’ menu and holding down the button on the end of the stalk until a tick appears
DougieFresh9 You can but as long as the vertical height of all 4 wheels is approximately equal it won't matter that you have an xDrive. I know of a few people that run staggered set ups with it. There are a few rim/tire calculators out there I think 1010tires has one that can help you find a good combination. The set up I run should be safe fore xdrive. Maintaining ride height was important to me so I found a combination that was approximately equal to stock height at all 4 corners.
