Applying the stage 3 XHP Gearbox flash to my 2016 BMW 435d F32 (same process as the F30, F31 and other F3x models).
The car already has a stage 2 ECU Tune with 396 BHP and 800+ NM Torque. I also applied the Alpina Gearbox Flash a few years ago, so can compare against the stock gearbox and the Alpina one too.
Full tutorial / guide of applying the XHP Stage 3 Transmission tune via a Windows 10 Laptop and an ENET Cable to the OBDII port.
The next video in a week or so will then have my thoughts and impressions for the flash tune and my personal opinion if it is worth doing and the cost, so stay tuned and please consider subscribing.

Hi Richard great video i need to get my F30 335D gearbox done next , After watching your remap vid from a couple of years ago i took my car to unicorn after recently fitting a CSF intercooler for a stage 1+ last week , I also had a DMS map when i first got my car a few years ago , Unicorn did a before and after tune and made an extra 15 BHP ( 399.18 BHP ) and 80 NM torque ( 781 NM ) on top of the DMS Map , Car feels much better now , Happy i took it to them thanks for your recommendation

Interesting video….I have an F31 335d and plan to do engine & gearbox map when my car is out of warranty. Try using Quicktime to record the screen on your MacBook and split your edited video 50:50 so that it’s easier for people to see what you’re doing on your laptop. Makes it easier for people who watch these types of videos on their phones (me 😂). Great content and consider me subscribed 👍

Gary, what numbers do we have to be mindful of with regards to gearbox health? Does the app scan and recommend that you don’t flash if it detects an issue?

Hi there, not sure about the health but there are tolerances and it shows you for each gear beforehand.
