I have a BMW 530i E60 from 2004 with Professional Navigation, comfort seats, electrical with memory, rear seatwarmers, leather seats. It was very good power, 3 liter engine 231 horsepower. 200500 km on the clock, runs great! I bought it for 68000 Swedish crowns which is like 9000 US Dollars. So far so good, rides very fucking smooth..... Fuel consumption isnt that bad when you drive on the highway, it's under 1 liter / 100 km which is good. I just fucking love this car. Material as he said in the video in the car is very good, everything is just good...... got dammit! I had a BMW E46 before and indeed it was a great, great fucking car but i don't regret that i bought an E60. The M54 engines which are on the pre-facelifted E60 is very reliable!!
Hi Autocarnerd, im looking for a first car :D im thinking of either the e60 520i or a bmw 3 series in 2004-6 range. wich one of those would you recomend? i guess theire both fun in snow and rain for sliding*?
+Norventure Hello. If you want a bit more luxuryy then buy the 520. But if you want a car that is cheaper to insure and is more fun to drive then buy the 320 or 325. The 520 hase more space as weal. But drive the cars and test with one suits you best
+Norventure I just bought a 2009 e60 523i, the interior is really spacious and very nice. I also test drived the A6 2011, it was like a Japanese car. Really light. The only concern I have for the E60 is reliability. Fingers crossed.
+Viktor Ritterstrandh Har kört en 535d touring fast det var några år sedan. Det är jo samma bil i grund o båten. Jag kunde att sedan vart lite tystare fast då snackar vi inte några större skillnad. Kör på kombi om du behöver utrymme annars är sedanen perfekt. Men f10 är mycket bättre en e60/e61 så har du lite mer att ge för bilen så kör på en f10.
I am interested in bying used 520d with 180000 km. Can you give me an info about the running costs, since everyone is accenting there are too much km past and I will have to spend too much money on repairments? I heard that BMW often has problems with the gearbox. Thanks in advance.
+Ljupco Panov When buying a just car you have to lock ate every car individual. If you can buy the facefilten model. And if the car hase 180000 km you have to lock how the car hase been driven. Motorway miles are no stress on the car. And lock up how many owner and if it has a good service book.
