On the F11 there is a great feature with the rear seats. When they are folded down there is a recess on the back of the seats that the parcel shelf can slide into and connect to the ceiling making a larger protected cargo area in the cabin!
Gran bel mezzo..motore 6 cilindri in linea.
Everything is correct, the only thing that i have changed it is when i lock the car i don't need to press and hold for the mirrors to close .you can code it to close automatically with the car time at pressing for 0.5 seconds. Thanks for the video.
I have the F10 LCI, with all your options plus black headliner, leather dashboard, heatead rear seats, 3 usb ports, 4 zone climate control, head up display, webasto, black rims same model as You, x-drive, 313 ps, one more set of 17 inch allowys with brand new winter tyres, manual curtains for the back and side Windows, automatic for endscreen, side mirrros with automatic dimming, 30 GB hdd
Hello and congratulations for the video!! Is there any way to turn off the AC (and the ventilation system) so when you turn on the engine not to find it operating?
Nice video! I am particularly impressed by the modified display in Eco Pro Mode, showing rpm and looking like in Comfort/Comfort+ modes. Also the Coming-Home function seems pretty cool. Do you have some tips how can these be activated/coded on a LCI 530xd (MJ 2016) with all official software states updated to year 2022?
@@3ODhmN2N Thanks for the info, but after some deeper digging and tests I found out that all these were adjustments from the menu. The Comming-Home function needs radio Off in order to work. So it all exists without coding...
So how do you check the fluid see this is wat I meen about modern cars no dip stick no break fluid check all this meens is so it has to go to be serviced
Ditto replies already given...f10/f11 models (as well as their cousin 6 & 7 series models) that are AWD have a power steering system that uses hydraulic assist along with the EPS (electric power steering). The RWD models have 100% EPS systems...thus no PS reservoir that uses hydraulic fluid.
Very good video! Has anyone experienced problems with the timing chain on 525d? Or should I go for 535d instead of 525d? Any advice will help me. Thanks
I have 520d manual (pre-facelift). I am interested at 07:40. How it is possible to drive 60 km/h @700-800 rpm? My 520d in manual mode would choke on that
if only BMW's weren't so damn expensive to insure where i live. All the snot nosed brats and ego-maniacs crash these so often that insurance costs have risen to silly heights.
Here's the best tip don't even bother buying one unless you like the feeling of driving a time bomb or just love fixing your car or love spending hours Brock down or driving home in limp mode
@@bogdanrivaldo yes very true my advice if you want a BMW that still looks good get a e90 it's got the modern lines but is still build simple it's considered to be the best of the 3series
@@phillipwright1752 I only had the car for 2 months. Mine have 70k miles on it. One thing the previous owner did was changing the Valvecover gasket and the oil filter housing gasket, which is a normal thing do every 60k on the N55 engine. So good so far for now. But to be on top, I am aware I have to keep an eye on the oil pan gasket and the water pump. Once you know that, you feel good to go. I don't just like the car I love it. The big thing with the 5 series is comfort. You don't feel as much the road but when you look at the speedometer you like holy shit I am at 100 mph. This is my 2nd car, I already have a light gokart that feel going super fast when you only at 60mph. I love the 5 serie, especially on the highway. It's a mix of fast, comfort ans safe. I recommend a 2014 to 2016 because of the newer transmission.
@@FrancescoGalante91 ciao Ho la stessa macchina 525 mi dici come si toglie appoggi testa anteriore lato passeggero per inserire un monitor dvd Grazie mille per una risposta pf
@@phillipwright1752 i have an 535i xDrive F11. I love it to death however i had some Problems. The car has 96'000km and the following defects have occured: at 86'000km one rear air bellow of the suspension ripped. Was fully covered by bmw because it is a "known" issue and a revised more stable part is availiable. at 90'000km the dust covers of all 4 dampers have been changed (not really necessary but i wanted to prevent damage on the adaptive dampers. at 94'000km was the ultimative hammer and my turbo was defect. however got still 40% on the parts. this seems to be a really rare occasion. One of the doors have been leaking water to the carpet (also known Porblem) Fix was roughly 200 Euros. Although it was not the perfect reliable car i really love the F11 and especially rhe combination of engine and gearbox.
No mate you have to have on the door that button for reglabile mirrors and if you leave on in the passenger mirror on when you reverse the car the mirror will be maximum on the ground.
Great video. One thing you could add is the size of socket required to remove oil filter. On mine I think its 36mm and its torqued at 25nm (or whatever the units are 🤣)
Hi, I have got a F10 LCI model with powered trunk and comfort access, tried for the handsfree trunk opening but it didn’t open up, any ideas on that? Thank you
Have you tried to swing your foot forward at the centre of the bumper? Just move your foot from standing point to the forward and backward! Majority of the drivers think that; the foot should be swept from left to the right or vice-versa? If your car has has got comfort closing system fitted it should definitely work; I.e. open the trunk/boot lid? Otherwise; there is a sensor fitted just halfway inward (underneath the boot) get it checked by a qualified technician)! I hope this helps. Cheers
Yes. The new generation BMWs (starting with the 2004 e60 5 series) ALL have an IBS (intelligent battery sensor). And there is a procedure that requires REGISTRATION of any new battery. And if you change to a battery with different specs (like go for a higher or lower amp hour (AH) battery...then that change will also require CODING as well as registration so that the charging system will work accordingly. The e38/e39/e46/e53 is the last of the old generation BMWs...so be prepared for some new things and new modules/communication bus system.
