Great video mate. I just had thinks done to my car. Removed dpf and had stage 2 remap. 163 bhp now on 205bhp. 520d 2005. Big difference. But smokey but worth it.
Hi im planning to do same operatrion want just to ask if you have to lower the subframe or to remove something from the steering/rack column...many thanks
Hi bmw316d e90 am in east Africa in small villages no on is her to do remapping but I want to remove dpf filter and refit is will be good enough sense that is all I can do please help me thank you
Did u experinced any problem with the gearbox? had my car remapped and removed the dpf... now its sliding on 1,2 gear and started jumping in RPM.. i did had the torqueconverter replaced just last month before tuning.
Did you drive it much without a remap? Did it drive normal without a remap? And how many miles did u drive without remap? Im going to gut mine but il need to drive it about 80 miles to get it tuned by a guy i know will do it for half the price ive been quoted by others. Thanks
I did the same with my 635d, works perfect, better than before. But you must delete the egr too and blank it . Thats really important. detele de dpf and egr and blank it. Do not increase the power at the remap!!! There is no need . Once you remove dpf and blank egr it will fly not drive. I dont even need sport mode is just insane as it is. Turbo kick in faster and throw u in the seat. Drive 180km/h and barelly touch pedal, and still have plenty to go. Still pulls. Dont listen to those who say put aftermarket dpf, bullshit !!! They dont last. In a few months is all dirty again.
Salut! de ce e asa important sa blochezi si EGR? Am facut si eu DPF off + soft, dar dupa 3500rpd da destul de mult fum, sub 3000rpm da foarte putin spre deloc
@@serbanneagoe1400 ca iti baga toata mizeria aia in admisie. Iti distruge trhottle valve. Am facut un video unde se blocheaza si cum, cauta l acolo in lista mea ca ai sa l vezi. O sa ti dea cod de throthe actuator ma mir ca inca nu ti o dat deja. Curata-i toata admisia de aer.
+Krystian By - they do not check emissions on new diesel cars, just read fault codes via OBD II if you have any EGR codes, which you don't after a remap
had the same problem with my 2012 sprinter last month merc wanted £900 for a new one so i spent 300 quid at a garage geting it removed then 4 weeks later it passed its first mot happy days
Ive done the same to my smart car and it goes like the clappers now!! Cost me £550 but well worth it due to the hassle of it trying to regen all the time!! Engine oil stays a lot cleaner also??
Hi, did you manage to get rid of that smoke? Any remap, soft DPF delete? Swirl flaps, EGR off? Did you connect your DPF sensors back or kept disconnected? I've got a 530xd 230ps / 170kw M57N2, DPF physically off, flashed it with OEM euro 3 soft, DPF errors gone from the DDE, but it still says the regeneration is requested... And at idle it still smokes like at your first start...
@electrictroy2010 I would rather soot that is heavy and falls quicker than ash and co2 that is more harmful to breathe in .what about all the extra metals that go in to making a dpf ? You think that shit grows on trees
Wouldn't it be better to put a pipe inside to bridge the void thats now inside the dpf for better flow? I've seen other youtube videos on here that do that. They also drill holes in the pipe bridge and stuff rock wool around the pipe.
make sure when you de cat and dpf remove you will need to do a dpf delete if you dont delete your car will smoke very badly as it will go in regenorate ?
no, it's Deep Penetration Fuck. It's a bonus voucher to spend with prostitutes at BMW's costs in BMW Owners Club events - BOC, short for Bitches On Cocks.
Hi mate, on my 320d e90 I have removed cat and dpf! Now I have a sound that doesnt like to me. What can I do to get back normal sound? Will I achieve something putting a pipe inside dpf box?
friend I'm sorry to tell you that this is the catalyst, I was convinced that this was the dpf but it is not like that. catalytic converter Nº 18307796617 and dpf Nº 18307792041. Many people get confused because in bmw they mount the sensors of temperature and pressure in the catalyst. It is a bad design of bmw since they mount the dpf away from the engine gases in the middle part of the exhaust system
You are incorrect. He deleted DPF, not Cat. He has has lci dpf which is contained in a single 2 in 1 unit. Cat and DPF is in the same unit. He removed the DPF part from it and left the CAT part inside. What you are referring to only applies to pre-lci cars, which do indeed have separate dpf unit in the middle of the car.
USafortiori it allows the engine to breath more freely inturn it adds some extra power especially if remapped afterwards for performance aswel as dpf delete, adds some extra MPG and saves having to have it cleaned/ replaced as its not cheap and when they start failing they actually cause more harm than good, definately worth doing. Just a shame that if noticed that its been removed on m.o.t they will fail it, well at least they SHOULD fail it unless you have a buddy whos a mot tester haha
hi my car is same as urs 530d m sport 06 reg auto, removed dpf & remap its been 4 months now,but now its giving lot of white smoke now & fuel burn smell.does ur car do the same?
Razik Hussain nope mate, no any smoke (only very little black smoke on hard acceleration) did you remove DPF and not a CAT ? If remove wrong thing (CAT) then burning DPF will make white smoke... Other thing you need to do remmap and delete DPF from the ECU ...
HI GUYS ! MY CAR DRIVE VERY SLOU BMW 530D AUTO .LIKE NOT WORK TURBINA.ITS CAN PDF / IFF I OFF PDF CAR DRIVE GOOD OR NO ? MY FREND SAY ITS PDF PROBLEM . HALP GUYS WHAT ME DOING ...................
Ezio Casella you can leave cat in.but you can delete egr valve.remap is a must on these 535s.had mine done 372 bhp and 736 torque.very responsive.delete dpf off ecu and egr off ecu.makes a lot of difference.also you can put 2 16 mm holes in dpf to help the flow
Stephen Catt: when you say delete egr and dpf from ecu, does that mean you can actually leave the actual parts on the car but just delete them from ecu?
yes i removed mine on my 05 530d it pulls a bit better and actually my mpg has gone up a bit to i think its because there is less restrictions but i still need to do software
@@Gripengamer if you have the money i would recommend getting new catless downpipes but if you dont have the money there is nothing wrong with the stock pipes you can definitely reuse the stock dpf box thats wat i did first i cutted out the cat welded it shut and it worked like a charm and later i saved enough money to do aftermarket catless downpipes i didnt really feel a difference the dyno showed i gained like 5 kw over the stock catles dpf my car makes 185 kw and 515nm tourq after decat and software tune stock 173 kw and 500nm tourq
I see nothing wrong in doing this the shit still ends up in the air dpf or not as on a regen it burns ands blows the shit out there’s lots of buses that have no dpf because they are too old and they chuck out loads of smoke until there’s a permanent solution that works I will take the dpf away as soon as it fails mots are no problem as long as leave the can in place
How is performing you car after almost one year mate? Any problem at all? Did the MPG improved, if so, by how much? Ho did your DPF removal and remap? Thank you
Hi, everything fine, no any problems, runs perfect :) on long journey (have trip to Spain and back) done 2500miles with average 46.5mpg, not bad for 3.0d, and with hard driving, sometimes on motorways 100 or more mph, hard driving on hill serpentine roads, still have good MPG , in city (london) average bettwen 34-38mpg, depends on traffics and course driving style :)
@ferkemall more fiction... Are you a paid poster for a hydrocarbon giant? The UK will only have 4 active coal-fired TPPs in 8 months. Also, coal already costs more according to the IMF and the World Bank. This is without calculating the costs to health and well-being that the emissions create. In any case, a single coal fired thermal power plant is still far easier to for science to control emissions than it is for millions of tailpipes. Especially with criminals removing legally mandated emissions controls like DPFs. In Switzerland 98% of the electricity generated is zero emissions from hydro and French nuclear. An electric can get it's power from many clean sources. ICE vehicles can only derive power from polluting and unhealthy fossil fuels. www.theguardian.com/business/2019/aug/01/german-utilities-firm-rwe-to-close-its-last-uk-coal-plant-in-2020
@ferkemall yes it is unfair that passive DPFs and active DPFs cost so much. It's unfair that we have known about the particle number concentration of petrol / gasoline emissions also means those cars must have GPFs in order to match the numbers required of diesels. But, the NOx cheat was the final crime that have caused diesel passenger car owners to lose on their sincere investment. In any case it is illegal in the UK for a reason to remove your FAP/DPF. Also, hacking the EGR can cause heat damage to the engine. Finally, the particles emitted without a DPF are >100 trillion every 2 minutes on a normal load and operation for a 2 liter diesel vs with a DPF 20 to 30 billion.
it´s true, catalytic converter Nº 18307796617 and dpf Nº 18307792041. Many people get confused because in bmw they mount the sensors of temperature and pressure in the catalyst. It is a bad design of bmw since they mount the dpf away from the engine gases in the middle part of the exhaust system
However, this maneuver changes the pollution class of the car. The car is approved with a certain class after which the taxes are calculated and the modification leads to tax evasion. Arrest at home would be an appropriate measure. At least it wouldn't pollute ... Health is one and cars are still found.
No, why should we drive with a bom with a timer on it? A DPF gives you a bunch of headache. It is better for the car, better for the fuel consumption, you gain hp an torque. If you think about the climate, drive a Prius!
***** Thanks for filling the air with soot, so humans can breathe it in & damage their lungs. You're more inconsiderate than a person smoking in a restaurant (dirtying the air).
electrictroy2010 dude, modern diesels are clean enough, even when you drive without a DPF. A DPF is just a cost matter option. These things are expensive, we pay 2000 euro when it is broken. Think about it, everytime it breaks down you need to pay 2000 euro. You can do it cheaper by cleaning, around 500 euros, but there is no guarantee it will work fully 100%. The manufacturers want you to pay a bunch of money, for what? For a piece of shit metal pipe that wil break down after 150000km? They know modern diesels are clean enough but it is just a cost matter issue. They want you to pay for it.
electrictroy2010 oh and, a car with DPF brings more issues then a car without DPF. So this brings more costs with it and expensive repairs, for exemple, my friends dad had a passat from 2002 TDI 130ps, 8 years and no problems. He bought a passat 2007 a lot of problems. I had a Astra from 1999, 9 years and no problems, I bought a Astra from 2007, almost 10000 euros of repair costs. Car manufacturers are so smart these days, you don't even know, I can tell you, every diesel car has DPF problems.
Clean enough? No. In the US a VW Passat or BMW 535d with the DP filter is rated as clean as a Prius (super ultralow emissions). However before the DPF was added to this car, it was banned from sale due to being dangerous to human lungs. It emitted too much soot. Your mod would make the car owner fail the US emissions exam.
there no any smoke after, this only on first start , course welding done etc, but after first good run all shit comes out and there no any smoke , of course some black smoke on hard acceleration , but this is normal for diesel
no mate, this is old E60 (your link) it have two separate boxes, one for DPF, another for CAT, my model (12/2006) have one box with CAT and DPF inside ;) I remove right thing ;)
Guys, wtf are you doing here?! Removing DPF?! Are you sure that this car or auther DPF canceled car is still road legal? If In your car paper says that it should meet certain co2 restriction, it better do so cause otherwise you are violating the law. Better diesel fuel economy comes with a price and If you can not afford to buy parts for it you better switch to gas. Period!!!
this DPF useless bullshit are pushed by commercial world , and there thousands of car owners have problems with DPF especially who driving in short distances, only this shit are good for garages as they permanent customers and draining them . . . . After removing this shit from my car there big improvement in economy on fuel and performance , also I PASS emission test after removing it without any problems , what this means ??! DPF removed, but emission test are normal ? ;)
by the way, there no any smoke anymore after first run, in this video just on very first startup there some smoke, as welding done, some loose soot etc, but later done many thousands miles without any problems, and without smoke, even on cold engine startup there no smoke
@@dragosb2052and what about the highers-ups whom are using plane and have a costly and degrading way of life ? Exactly, i hear nobody. So keep having your throat filled
