BMW 530d E61 2008 manual Stock 235hp DPF and EGR delete + Software Dynoed with 307hp and 713Nm Weight 1840kg with full gastank. Wheels 245/35 and 275/30 R19
7,5 is max average in summer. Includes 7km drive to work. When I don't have to drive to work its ~7l. My best consumption was 5,3l when I drove 300km to the beach in Netherlands. Not to forget with 245/275 tires and 19" wheels.
Hello , what mods did you make to get 300+hp ? And 700nn ? I mean you have a 530d 2006 right ? Because here a tuning house called BR performance only offers to get you to 280hp and 600nm
Nothing, all stock. I'm just shifting fast. The BMW has a turbo lag if I'm shifting to slow. If you want to accelerate fast, you should shift fast too.
@@ZeoRyu Yes I understand my Audi has a similar thing too which I wanted to ask you if you have knowledge… I have an Audi A6 C6 4F 2010 (same era as your Bmw) It has 240hp stock and it has had a stage 1 to 292hp. And when I accelerate hard in D and in S too, when I flor it, it like waits for a second and then it shoots off. Wanted to ask if it is normal bcz your Bmw seems to have this similar lag thing too as you said. Thank you. 👍
@@slayder2251 so you mean it needs a second when you do a kickdown? I know for bmw automatic gearbox are Software available for faster shifting. But I never own a automatic car, so I have no knowledge about it.
Car had first clutch with 210tkm, handled stock power without problems, then after software the clutch has given up. Now I use the 550i clutch without problems, handles the power great. Only the dual mass flywheel doesn't like full throttle at low rpm.
@@dziugasgrikinis7262 yes it fits without mods to the 3l diesel flywheel. E60 550i has the same clutch like the US model 550i F10, which has 600Nm of torque. So it holds definitely more than 600Nm. My car was dynoed with 700Nm and I have no problems with the clutch.
That's still high. On average I use just under 7 liters. The record was 5.3 liters after I drove 300km to the Netherlands. Not to forget, with 245 and 275 19" tires. I'm very happy with the consumption and the power. I ordered a bigger intercooler now. I'm curious to see whether it will make even more power on the dyno.
@@ZeoRyu That's crazy bro . I just bought a steptronic 330d e90 2009 and it uses about 8.5l . Driving on motorway for 10 miles and 4 miles in the city. Rush hour really hurts the mpg.Still good for a 3l tbh
I think the key is to have a manual and any of m57 engines. 2.5, 3.0, 3.0 twinturbo... Such a good engines man!! And reliable too. Impressive job BMW 👏
