Yeah I'm not used to those lights and they were giving issues all day and a lot of runs got no times. It was a bit of disorganized chaos. The m5 was in the mid 10s on the day I think and I was 11.1 at best on the flexfuel tune so not too far off . I've since discovered 2nd gear launches are better!
I'm extremely undecided between 3 cars: - 540i 2018 - m340i 2020 - m3 f80 2015 - m5 f10 2015 I intend to do Stage 2 in any of these 4 that I get, the twin-turbo V8 might not start due to the very expensive maintenance and problems that may arise. As for the M3 f80, the S55 has a crank hub as soon as I use it, and it pulls out a lot, putting me at risk, I'm totally Soviet when it comes to things. And so I'm really between the 540i 2018 and the m340i 2020, I love space and technologies, they say that the ZF8HP transmission of the 540i is second generation, while the m340i is a third generation ZF8HP, I don't know in practice where the difference would be difference between them. So I would like you to tell me which of the cars I should buy, I intend to do stage 2 and then a stage 3, either the 540i or the m340i ?
Are all the cars you listed RWD? Its a good list to be looking at and had a similar list before i bought the 540i, mine is xdrive so it launches well. The m340i would have the nicest interior, agility too being a 3 series chassis, i wouldn't go for the older f10 M5, too old and increased maintenance cost. M3 would be nice and a proper M car, but i just preferred the cabin and size of the g30 for my needs. It all depends on what you will also mainly be using the car for. %40 is my only and only car so a daily driver but with the few upgrades its greatly improved the potency. If you go past 06/20 for the m340i it will mist likely have a locked ECU so you will need to get that bench unlocked before you can start tuning it
@@sennavr1855 if I daily on the E30 tune it's about 20mpg. In the crappy 91oct/95ron tune it's maybe 24mpg. City driving only and my car seems to be stuck in Sports+ 😂
I was running e50 on the day on a new flex fuel Tune revision, checking the logs of the day, it didn't like e50 so was pulling boost to keep things safe, so still a bit more work to do if I want to run e50
@@InnaB58 Okay, that explains it. You should be running in the 10’s. I am also stage 3 running flex fuel on E50. 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and 1/4 mile in the high 10’s. Respect to the M5 it was moving.
@@josedesilva5836 yep it was only running 23psi so it felt more like e30. . I should have left it on the static e50 tune which is a lot stronger. Left my MHD adapter at home so couldn't change tunes on the day. Rookie error 😂
m5 walked away, but barely and it has a stage 2, this is impressive from a 540i. I bet this 540i would give my stock 23' m850i a run for its money or even pass it on the half mile. lol props to you dan
