omg there's two of us! lol I'm working on my project car which is also a 645ci. Planning to supercharge it as well although I haven't decided which one to go with, not that there is a huge selection for out car lol The ESS G1 on your video makes a good argument for me to use it.
@ #RuskiWeldShit This is the 4.4i N62 engine correct. ?? What have you done to the engine to strengthen it. Have you replaced connecting rods or pistons. Have the cylinders been sleeved. Are you using a head gasket spacer. How much psi are you on. What is your compression ratio currently. Sorry to have so many questions. I plan on doing something similar with my engine but I'll be going turbo rather than supercharger. Any info you can give me would help and is appreciated. Keep up the good work fellas.
How about the longevity? The performance is like the Alpina, but this one has no forged connecting rod and other pistons. Can the engine withstand that or have there been problems in the meantime?
The alpina only has a forged crank so that’s clearly what they thought the weak link is. It’s still going strong now. It’s ruined a gearbox since this video but aside from that it’s been fine. Couldn’t tell you how long it’ll be fine for but I am about to up the boost a fair bit with some other tricks that hopefully work to get more low down power. Ruski will no doubt film it all.
@@rich_forever9485Catless down pipes added 14hp on this but only once it was re tuned for them being gone. I’d say on a NA car it’s going to make no difference at all.
Gentlemen, great job, but I have one question, is the car still active with the valvotronic system? Wouldn't be the best solution to install turbo? Because the supercharger takes about 50 hp.
Hi The valvetronic is still active yes. There’s not really any room for turbos plus I’ve had a few turbo cars and just wanted to try something else. These superchargers are very very efficient though.
Hi Just wanted to ask The bmw e63 645ci comes with 333hp stock for 2005 model year You mentioned you had 469 or something to that effect and you managed to get 520 out How did u increase the power from the stock 333 hp ? Thanks
Does this car still have the stock 645 rear differential or did you upgrade to the M6/M5 center section??? Just wondering how much hp the stock diff can handle before it "grenades" it's guts all over the freeway!
Hi i have the same kit but for the 550i e60. I wanted to ask if you relieved the engine to get this power? are you using an engine map sent by ESS or someone wrote to you? Please help because I am using the map sent by ess and constant problems
@@bmwM5ma yes I ran it without meth on the standard pulley. Waaaaaay too hot intake temps but would work. The methanol is now essential as the methanol octane boost is needed for the extra boost.
@@bmwM5ma I’m really not sure tbh mate. ESS don’t think so. If you were really hammering it I’d say yeah it’ll get a bit too hot but 90% of the time it sure it would be fine.
