Hello, yes, there is a 2nd little pump that pumps cleaning fluid for the headlights. It is also possible that a leak would come from that one as well 👍. The car in the video was only leaking on the window washer pump so I only changed it, but the little pumps weren’t very expensive so I really should have just changed them both when I was doing the job. Hope this helps and all the best ! Steve
Angela Jones , hello, yes this should be the little pump and motor for the windshield washer. There is another one in the bottle, but I think it’s for the headlight washer squirters. The motors go bad when the seal between it and the pump fails and it gets water in it typically. It might have also blown the fuse to it if it shorted out from the water
Angela Jones , I’ve not had many issues with the headlight system, but if it helps, here’s a link to the information on the BMW’s newTIS.com site for how they interact with the other control systems of the car: www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f82-m4-cou/repair-manuals/63-lights/2BhcSM0 . It could be a mechanical issue with the light modules (water ingress, movement motor, or gearing) or issues with communication to the controllers for the wheel angle sensor or yaw sensor. Getting the fault codes could narrow it down, but you might need INPA or software specific to BMW’s to be able to access the secondary computer modules. Hope this helps 👍, Steve
