BMW AC BLOWS HOT AIR | HOW TO FIX CAR A/C THAT BLOWS HOT AIR
If you have a BMW and the AC A/C air conditioner blows hot air instead of cold air we will help you fix that. The most common reason for a BMW AC air conditioner to blow hot air is either low on Freon, AC leak, not working compressor, not working radiator fan. Another reason why you ac blows hot air is if the actuator blend door flap is stuck in hot position, in this case the ac will work but the car will turn the heater on when it should be off.

I have a 2002 330i and the vents just blow hot air, the heat and cold switch works. When I switch it to cold air it blows cooler air but it's still warm. My compressor turns on and everything. I switched out the fuses as well. Any ideas of what the problem is? I would appreciate the help.

Can any one help mine is saying 16 degrees but it's basically warm I know its warm outside but my friends air is cold x

Nice video and good info. I have a MAXISYS ms 906 pro, and I’m trying to test the ac system on a 1998 528i m52. The problem I’m having is that the computer is not giving me the active test option. Do you know if that car model has that feature ? Thank you.

I was taking my radiator off for the first time and there is two Allen head screws next to the radiator on the passenger side of it. Being it was my first time I thought the two screws were to the radiator but was to whatever keeps the a/c pressure in. I got sprayed with every bit of liquid/air that was left in my a/c. I quickly tightened it back up and cleaned what it got on in the engine..and my face..but air is still coming out of the metal behind the screws when I tried to refill it. I’m not sure what to do at this point because I’m not sure of what that part is called and why air is still shooting from it. Any help I’d be grateful. Thanks in advance

Hello could u tell me what could be the problem.?? 2001 BMW X5 3.0 New: Expansion valve, heater control valve. Was blowing heat now blowing a little bit cooler after replacing heater control valve. Clutch does engage. Freon is full. 16 ounces. (Pressure 55 low 250 high.) seems like a small amount of Freon for dual ac but that’s what BMW says was recommended. Blend doors seem to work correctly but still not blowing as cold. What could be the issue??

Hello. My 2011 E92 M3 is having an issue with the compressor engaging on cold starts in the morning. I get warm air for a few blocks and then the compresor finally engages. Could it be the AC clutch? Is the relay located as in this video?.

I have a 2013 bmw 535i xdrive. My ac doesn’t work at all. And my heat will work for a few soconds then cuts off. It’s very weird. I had a diagnostics done on it and I have the codes but I googled the codes and can’t really find out what I need to do. Do you know what might be causing the air to not turn on or anything

how about this . on my E53 the A/C doesnt kicks in when i start the car and it only kicks in when my temp reach the middle.temperature and when you stop the engine and start it after 15 minutes it wont kick on again and then i have to rev it from 2nd upt to third gear and t will kick in again..what part do i need to check. pls advise. Basically you showed is a nice diagnostics tool, tested all the switches but you didn’t fix anything... How about the notorious expansion valve and heater control valve? My ac is blowing warm air from all vents but my compressor works, it engages when I turn the ac on, pressure was good but still warm air. Now I ordered and expansion valve and heater control valve just for the sakes of it and change them both. Hopefully that will work. I also am replacing all the o-rings.

This is not a fair comment for the video. He is listing common causes and how to check and rectify them. You're not even sure your problem is caused by the expansion valve. You know it could be a vent issue that he has mentioned?

I can't find anything on a 2015 3 series air not working all the time. Repair man said bad compressor and condenser 2,000 dollars. how can it be bad just some times?

Hey guys I've been watching you guys to help fix my 2008 BMW 328i and there is a problem that doesn't add up with the A/C. I changed the compressor, but all of the actuators are not working. That includes the car is not blowing out any air. I hear the blower blowing but no air and it's not cold. Please, tell me if you ever came across this situation or know what it is? I really don't want to get ripped off at the dealership again.

I have a 00 323i. I have replaced evapator, compressor, reciever dryer, expansion valve. but after a while stops working. no leaks pressures are good. I went ahead and revac and recharged and started woking. what else could it be? fan seems to work.could it be condenser?

Sounds like ur describing ur house AC unit? Lol...but serious, have u tried ur motor blower resiator and/or checking ur ac fuses? on my 01' 525i there hidden behind and up the glove box.

Bring it to a professional ac shop it’s probably low on refrigerant and I wouldn’t recommend the cans of refrigerants because they can add air and moisture to your AC system which you do not want.

my drivers side blows nice and cold but the passenger side is alot warmer is it my blendor or actuator i have a 2003 bmw x5 4.4 any suggestions for me dual climate control both is dual climate are at 60. where is the location of blendor actuator.. Thanks

@@Mrtonecapone77 You mean the aux fan? How did you figure out that was the culprit? I don't understand how the fan would affect the AC on just one side of the vehicle but if it helped you, I'm definitely interested in exploring that solution, thank you!

My 08 bmw 328i only blows cold air when power is put directly on the ac compressor and when I take it off, it blows hot air again. What would cause this?
