Greetings, very interesting for my BMW 335i E92 2006 MODEL, which seems to have this Module damaged and I already bought another Second-hand one to install, it will be practical and it will work again without the failures that I currently have in sound that is discontinued. Just a little info for all You will only find the fakra model on the later CIC model. You will find a 10 pin plug if you have a older model Wich is normally found on the ccc model So the first connecter is the fakra video cable The second connector is the cambus cables The last connector is the actual fiber cables

Hello sir, is this said module can something do with the music sound and idrive functioning? Tnx for the answer as I am struggling with the audio, there's no broken wires, the diversity antenna is working. When the sound of music shows you can control the I drive, when sometimes music gone like having problem with aerial, the I-drive is disable. Hope you can help. Tnx in advance.

Today i replaced the Mulf1 for the mulf2. For the first time i can now activate my bluetooth and “check the box” in my idrive. When i select pairing, i can’t find my car in my iphone. I have a e87 2005 120i and the mulf2 is a 2007 model. Maby the car needs recoding?

Hi George, great vid once again! Thxs! Got a question though... Can you play BT in your car with this upgraded module? In my 330xd (02/2007) I have no problems with the factory BT connection for , but the hardware doesn't support audio so I have to use the old school aux connection (factory) for audio :(. I have a 2007, bmw 328xi coupe. I have the same problem, my BT is out, no longer working. I'm thinking about getting another one, I also have an SOS error on dash, when car starts. Pls help!!. Do you think that will fix my issue?. Also where is the BT module located at?.

I would have liked to install BT (Harald Blåtand or Harald Gormsson, king of Denmark and later on also of Norway, dead about 985) in my x3 -08, but I think there aren't any cables install, though I have AUX. The module should be installed behind the panels behind the left rear wheel, I think.

Yes you do need the fibre most network cables for BT to work. Can be retrofitted though!

Another great vid George. I have a BMW professional stereo in my 120D and I've successfully connected my phone via Bluetooth BUT i have a slight issue. Even though I can hear the other person the call through my speakers they can't hear me talk for some reason! Do u think I have a faulty Bluetooth module?

Thank you. I would say it may be more to do with your microphone being faulty / not set up correct with your phone

Hi George, in my E60 2006 with CCC, Mulf 84219116728 made by Visteon is DEAD, can i replace with a Mulf2 Harman/Becker 84109226711?, is plug&play?, or is better replace with MULF2-HI with USB?. Thanks!.

Mine 2005 120d doesn't have this mulf device. I don't know why because I has professional radio with logic 7. I also has phone buttons on steering wheel. I had hope that i has mulf and only thing to do is replace it with mulf 2 but now I dunno what to do 😭 help 🆘

@@mohitverma5144 haven’t managed to fix yet. I’m assuming it’s an easy fix at the bmw garage but they’ll charge a fortune for it.

@Kamran nope still not fixed it. Haven’t taken it to a bmw garage yet as it doesn’t effect anything other than the microphone. I’ll let you know if I get it a fix.

@Kamran I’ve replaced the small battery and the microphone but not checked the fuse, could be one of them two things drawing too much current. I’ll check the fuses at some point and see if it fixes it.

2007 525i CIC retrofit lost Buetooth, stereo sounds like a toy, lots of items grayed out on the unit screen.

Guys please help! My bluetooth was working fine, but then one day when I wanted to add a new device it would not show the bmw identification number, then I pressed the add new device several times and the identification number showed for a split second and then disappeared. (It glitched) When I pressed it one more it did not show the id number for bluetooth. From then I can not find the solution, so please if you had this problem help!!

My Bluetooth modul is dead. I have to change it, my car is a bmw 320d e91 from 2012 the Bluetooth modul code is 9 257 161-01 do I have to buy the same modul with this code?
