Way overpriced. A battery under 2kWh on a bike selling for over £7K. You can get an electric moped with these specs for around £2K, you are paying the other £5K just for BMW styling. They won't sell these in any quantity, it is only greenwashing, so that BMW can claim they manufacture a higher proportion of electric vehicles.

I really like the look of this bike and the fact that you can remove the batteries to charge (I live in a 5th floor apartment so charging at home is out). My issues, range and availability of charging. I think the 11KW has a range of around 95km, so in reality maybe 70. Great if you're just using it to commute to work and back, but at £9,330 it's a bit steep. You could get a Honda Monkey for half that price and on a full tank (5.7 litres) you're looking in excess of 220km. Charging an 11kw battery at home is about 24p, so £2.64 to charge (at home) 3p per km. Monkey is about £1.46 for litre or £8.32 for 220km, which is about 3.8p per km. Monkey is a bit more expensive to run but you don't have any range anxiety. I am seriously thinking about a purchase though.

While my electric scooter is hub drive. I can achieve 50-55 MPH with a range of 90-120Miles due to having 2 batteries & on hub motories. All for under $6K

It's a nice looking bike. I like the teal seat, but drop those God awful gold forks - I'll take the black ones. A 60mph bike would be a solid city traversing bike.

When you consider that a quality electric mountain bike will set you back around 3.5k euros minimum, then this bike represents excellent value!

Electric Grom ? It cost as much as almost 3 Grom's after tax. The Grom can get up to 99 MPG. Ya have to maybe get a little closer to that Grom price if ya really wanna move people towards the EV Motorcycle even if it is just the Grom size. I love this but not 9000 dollars worth of love. You can an MT09 for that price in most places.

Price is not commensurate with range and top speed yet there needs to be a jump in technologies before I’ll invest in electric motorcycles. It makes more sense than the extra heavy cars but the tech is just not there yet for the price. Slapping a bmw logo on it doesn’t justify that at all. 4,000 tops for every option would be reasonable

Twice grom price. My grom goes 200 miles per tank, this goes 50 miles per charge. My grom takes seconds to fill. This takes three hours to get back to 80%. This is a rich kid toy. A terrible purchase for anyone without gobs of money to waste.
